Amazing 2-bedroom upstairs apartment in Alma with WiFi, AC, Cable

"Let me preface by saying this was such an adorable and comfortable place to stay at. My 1-star for the check-in process is not directed to the owner but to the other tenants staying there. They locked the main entrance, which they weren’t supposed to, so upon our late arrival we couldn’t get into the place until the following day. Since it was late, the owner wasn’t awake to take our calls. VRBO tried to help us as well but couldn’t. Even with the unfortunate circumstance, the owner and VRBO were incredibly sympathetic and diligent in making right of the mishap. I’m certain they’ll place a process in place so this won’t happen again moving forward. Back to the rental, this place is clean, decorated beautifully, comfortable, and has everything you need for a little getaway. I will definitely come back and stay here again! Thank you to the host for being an amazing host!"

"The cabin was nice and big, close to swimming and the down town area. The owner was friendly and right next door if we needed anything. He brought out yard games for my grandchildren to play with. Overall we had a good relaxing stay."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The views were breathtaking and made for the perfect backdrop from sunrise to sunset. The outdoor space was one of our favorite features, with plenty of room to relax, enjoy the scenery, and spend quality time together. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus and the perfect way to unwind after a day by the lake.What truly made this stay exceptional was the host. Communication was outstanding from start to finish. They were friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. It's clear they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in providing a great experience.If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in a charming small-town setting, this lake house is the perfect choice. We highly recommend it and will return in the future! "

"This was a perfect get away for the 4th of July. They do a great fireworks show right on the lake so you don’t need to leave the deck. Not a lot to do however we found a beach, crystal lake 10 Minutes away (go left from the road). General Dollar about 5 minutes away, there is Meijer, Walmart & Aldi about 20 minutes along with fast food.The beds were very comfortable & it was clean & well stocked along with grilling utensils. Only negative is the washer/dryer as it’s a combo & it never dried anything completely. I think they need to add instructions on how to use as I never knew they made combo units.I would definitely go back again, plus Mike was great to work with & answered all my questions."

"There were plenty of rooms for everyone and lots of space. We ended up 20 people of all ages and had plenty of room. The kids and the adults enjoyed the game room upstairs. Just know that the kitchen is not set up for a lot of cooking. We brought prepared meals, but I know there are catering options. Thankfully there is plenty of refrigerator space. "
