"Rather unique, small and modern boutique B&B. Owners have put a lot of thought into making a small and cozy space. Cute garden. We liked the tatami mats and Japanese-style bedding. "

"This is a homey bed and breakfast run by a charming couple. Only a little English is spoken. The room we stayed in that had two beds was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice and clean. The service was very special. We felt well taken care of."

"Easy access to the beach. Owner makes the breakfast for you and it’s feels like home. 2 water bottles provided but you can always refill water from the main house. "

"The property and room were really nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they kept 2 roosters on the property and for our first night the rooster started crowing since 4am and it never stopped till the afternoon. We couldn’t sleep at all that night, it was very loud and frequent. We did ask for help, and they did capture the roosters but they were still crowing the next day but only started at 8am instead. The location is really far away from the city, there isn’t much to do...

"The host was so incredibly welcoming, friendly and joyful! I had a couple of requests when I arrived and she quickly accommodated me.
The room was extremely spacious and the view from the balcony was beautiful especially for sunrise!
I couldn't be happier with my stay. If and when I come back to Kenting, I will certainly stay at Kavana again! "

"Amazing place to stay, 1 hr drive away from Kenting, 10 min drive to the National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium and 15ish mins drive to beautiful beaches.
The rooms were clean and homey, with private bathrooms in the most unexpected place! (In a hidden closet which was well designed. The host is super sweet and kind- if you stop by on a Wed evening, the host and his friends practice er-hu together.

"Location and beach and pool are great. Property is a bit dated, and built for bigger plans, so some empty spaces. Food options were a bit disappointing. Local flair. Still recommend"
"Great place to stay with kids… the ball pit makes the whole trip worth it. Property is on the beach and really comfortable.
The property itself is somewhat maintained. I think in comparison to other hotels in Kenting it is probably one of the nicer properties. Our rooms are nice and clean. However, the toilet doesn’t really flush well and the shower is partially plugged so it floods a little bit.
The breakfast included is decent. Nothing special. A lot of options but mostly Chinese style. Overall I would give it 4 stars. It is clean and very convenient but I wouldn’t call it a true “luxury hotel”."
"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel - it’s truly impressive. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and offered plenty of storage, while the bathroom was bright with a powerful shower. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh, healthy options.
My only issue was that the pool closed for 1.5 hours around midday for cleaning. While it’s understandable for the pool itself to be unavailable, the surrounding outdoor area was also closed, meaning we had to leave the sunbeds, which felt unnecessary and a bit abrupt (other guests nearby agreed with us also).
That said, I would still highly recommend this hotel. It’s beautifully designed, in a great location, and overall a wonderful place to stay. If they improved how the pool cleaning is managed based on customer feedback, it would be perfect."
"Room was spotless. Staff spoke English well and were polite, helpful and resourceful. The heated pool was fun and safe. There was a lifeguard on duty. The kids play area was enormous and filled with dress up, DIY area, and ball pool. My kids, 5 & 10 really liked it. "
"We were greeted by very friendly staff late at night. There are activities in the FREE(!) fun zone to entertain toddlers and smaller kids but still some entertainment value for low teens, including a video screen that you pop things by touching them, and a small trampoline area with marshmallow pit and climbing wall like the world’s smallest trampoline park. The go carts are pay sessions and while the carts are small they seat up to adults. The kiddie pool is a large outdoor wading pool and not suitable for swimming. I wouldn’t put my head in or under the water (lots of leaves), but could be fun to sit with a flotation device. The rooms were clean and with firm beds and soft bedding. The beach and pier are indeed just right across the street (we had a lovely view, recommend paying extra for that). We had a car so easy to get to places. The best part of breakfast was the large variety with mostly Asian lunch types of options but also some American items. We were very pleased with our stay, especially how all the staff were so nice and the kid activities kept everyone occupied when we weren’t going out. In late December it was not crowded. A very pleasant stay!!"
"Nice large clean room with the balcony. Nice upgrade we received. A few minutes drive from the beach. Walking distance to the center of town. Helpful staff with restaurant recommendations. "
