Wapato getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Wapato Point. This is a great area for families with everything you need close at hand: pools, sandy beaches, play areas, large grassy space to play and ride bikes. Mini golf was fun and it was pleasant just to walk around the area. Could walk to coffee or a snack and had a grocery store nearby.

Relaxing stay with family

We enjoyed staying in this relaxing home within a short walk of the beach and pool. It was so nice and quiet at night. I loved the wild turkey, quails, deer, and bats around the house. It is such a scenic area.

This was a great property for multiple sibling families with little kids; the rooms and house was set up great to accommodate that. The wapato property has tons of fun things to do for little kids and is close to all the actives around Manson and Chelan. We loved it!

This was our second consecutive year at Wapato point. This location was perfect, easy walk up to the pool and easy walk down to the beach. The house was plenty big and had great outdoor seating for meals. The bunk room was ideal for the kids!

Host was very responsive and proactive e.g. reached out before the trip about pool closures and info about the resort. Location is great, we go to Wapato point resort in the last 6 years, so far the best location. Very close to beach and activity center, but very quiet area. The house was well maintained, clean and spacious. Highly recommending!

Fantastic Wapato Point Getaway

Had a great time. We had eight people and the house easily accommodated us with spacious bathrooms and living areas. As advertised for sure. Beach was literally a two minute walk. Bonnie was very responsive and let us drop some things off before check in which we really appreciated. Will stay again for sure.

This was a perfect location. We were there for a family wedding and the location was so close to everything. The venue, the rehearsal, the rehearsal dinner and many other homes that were rented. We loved that there were two kitchens, especially when needing to cook for the rehearsal dinner. Hope to stay there again some time. First time in Chelan. Thank you.

This is about the 15th year of staying in a VRBO at Wapato Pt. This house fit our family well; the second story provides some separation for sound and activity as is sometimes needed. It is close to beaches & a reasonable walk to the swimming pool at the top of the hill. The 'traffic' is mostly people walking and biking, just occasionally cars drive by. We will again find this house in the final selection process for 2025.

Really enjoyed the location! The house was great as well! My only issue with the stay was that the directions for where to take the garbage at the end of the trip were really confusing. And when we finally did find the trash compactor we had to climb up this hill with our trash to dump it in and it smelled so terrible and it was just really gross. Honestly I am always down to start a load of laundry and take out the trash but that was a lot and made worse with poor instructions.

Great family gathering at the lake

Large house perfect for multiple families. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. A few disappointments: deck lights didn't work, only one thermostat to control the entire house resulting in comfortable temps upstairs but freezing cold downstairs, teeny tiny sample size bar soaps in the bathroom for 9 guests during a 5 night stay. We had a little difficulty getting into the house because of an incorrect access code, but Bonnie was very responsive and was able to fix the issue quickly. One inconvenience is the requirement that we take all garbage to the on-site garbage dump located over by the winery upon checkout. Would have been nice to just bag all the garbage and place in the garage for the cleaners to dispose of. The kitchens are very well stocked and has all the pots, pans, dishes, appliances, etc you could ever need. The house is very clean, spacious, and well taken care of. Would stay again!

Great for Girls' trip or big family gathering.

Overall, our stay was amazing and we would love to return! There were a couple of minor disappointments: the lights on the deck didn't work so we didn't get to enjoy the deck as we had hoped in the evening. The description of the property includes access to an indoor pool and hot tub. The pool and hot tub were under renovations for a month, but we were not informed until check in. Bonnie was very professional, polite, and responsive. I am certain these will be addressed before the next occupant arrives. We were not inconvenienced enough to address the issues during our stay. The home is well taken care of in all other aspects. The house was extremely clean, all beds including the top bunks were really comfortable. Both kitchens were well stocked, living spaces were comfortable, the grill on the deck was nice to have too. The property is well maintained. Our group of 10 women had lots of space to lounge, visit, and spread out. Access to the beach is a short easy walk and the beach is perfect! We appreciated the close proximity to the outdoor pool as well. The AC works great in the house. The neighborhood is walkable and there are lots of recreational equipment rentals available. Our group is looking forward to visiting again next year, we would certainly stay at this home again.

Perfect place at Wapato

We just returned home after an incredible week at this beautiful and warm cozy home. Perfect space for multiple families and children to have their own space. Also loved the ample deck seating and over all vibe of the home. We are already dreaming up our next trip and we would definitely stay here again and again. Communication was a breeze with Bonnie and Tony coming to save the day with our silly vacuum snafu. . Wonderful layout, close to the beach and safe for young children to go to and from.
