「I had a lovely albeit short stay at Hawkdun Rise. Suzanne and John are wonderful hosts who make you feel at home. The interior could be slightly more modern for my personal taste but everything was very clean and well kept. And you can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into creating a space in which their guests can feel comfortable and welcome. Need to try their Gewürztraminer! 」

「We were lucky to arrive as the hotel was nearly shutting for the night, the duty manager was very welcoming. Rooms were very spacious with entrances to the courtyard as well.」

「The whole thing was perfect, down to the small touches of bubbles for the bath, snack choices and mini-bar. Decor is beautiful and the location is peaceful and relaxing. Loved the animals who visited-Cauliflower the chook, Chimp the cat and Bro the pup. 」

「We stayed here for a wedding 5 minutes away in Tarras. It was a perfect location for us. Amazingly roomy space with clever layout. Very private, we didn't actually meet the hosts.」
