Wonderful place to stay. Staff are amazing in meeting the guest needs. Place is located in a quiet street near the mall, hospital, laundry services and restaurants as well as bars.

Hotel was old but clean; It is surrounded by poverty as it stank of urine just 10-20 metres away from the hotel; it was messy dirty and scary to go out at night with beggars on every street corner. The upside was that it was reasonably close to the bay to see beautiful sunsets over the bay; close to a large memorial park and a large shopping centre!

Excellent pool, large suite, excellent staff. Cable TV was disconnected after a couple of days, appears they may have been changing providers but no new facility was connected.

Most rooms have a “high” step bath tub. For any seniors, request the studio-type room to have a walk-in shower. Having a kitchen and living room makes your stay not boring. Note- if you have a ‘joined room’ like an access door to two adjacent rooms for multiple families. You cannot have access to it :(

The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was more like a small apartment with a bedroom, kitchen, and living room. It was very clean. AC worked great. The bathroom had hot water and good water pressure. Overall a great stay.

It's an Aparta-Hotel which is what I like about it. Good amenities, close to a big mall, decent internet speed and the area around is safe. My only complaint is for the price, they should provide free coffee in the rooms.

I like the fact that I was able to check in early, however, I was given a room that had constructions happening above it and beside it. I couldn’t get a good rest or sleep because of the constant noise during the day and even at night. Also, the gym was outdated, equipment were not functioning and unsafe for use. The staff were nice, friendly, and helpful though when I needed help with transportation and assistance.

I've stayed in a number of hotels between Manila and Cebu, I'd rate this property at very good. The breakfast was very good, a Mall is a book away and the staff is excellent. The room was very large, the bed firm. The value was excellent.

Tropicana Stay
Whenever, I visit Manila. The Tropicana is the hotel of choice where I stay. The staff are friendly, the room of choice suits my needs and I enjoy the breakfast. I see no reason why I will not continue to stay there in the immediate future.

This hotel is pretty much right across the street from Robinson Mall, which is great. The room itself was fine, wish it has a washer/dryer option though. Also, I was told all the rooms with Queen bed were booked, so the room we had was 2 full beds pushed together, so either me or my fiancee were sleeping in the gap in-between the 2 mattresses every night. Other than that, the amenities were adequate for an average stay (I stayed there 8 nights), and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Matchu and the wackadoo's

Tropicana Suites is the BEST
Well I stay there every time I am in Manila so that should tell you how good Tropicana Suites is. Great location and great service, very clean and in great shape. The breakfast is great and the pool is very big.
