It's amazing! Only walking distance from MRT Shaw Station. Just google map the exact street. You need to turn an extra left to see Mariveles Street.
The hostel is a good quiet place to sleep. Clean and well-maintained.
Shared bathrooms are good too. They provide toiletries like (Towels, Shampoo, Shower Gel and Conditioner)
Free breakfast in the morning. Just a simple breakfast like (Bread or you can toast it on the oven, coffee, water and Sandwich spread of your choice)
For commercial areas. It is just walking distance near Shangrila-Mall and Megamall.
Their staffs are accommodating. However, they have curfew for check-in hours. 7am-8pm...Be sure to message them if you'll be coming late.
The staffs really do message/contact you via phone or email. To remind and ask of your whereabouts during check-in or check-out dates and time.
A neat and nice hostel right beside posh hotels in the Metropolis is a great find. The owner, Kris, and staff were helpful and kind. One doesn't get to find a lot of Backpackers, hostels and home stays in the Philippines just yet. It's still an unheard of place to stay the night. So, booking in one and experiencing what I experienced when staying in hostels in other countries can be truly refreshing. I just hope the owner gives their exact location when going there on foot, like where to get off from the bus, mrt, jeep, etc., which way to turn to, how many minutes, from the station or landmarks, etc. And oh, the toilet should be stacked with tissue papers, otherwise give your guests a roll as soon as they check in. But on the whole, this is value for your money, and would highly recommend it.
The hostel is really cozy and has clean facilities, and located near Shaw blvd sta. The staffs change the bath towels and keep the room clean everyday. And the owner is very kind and helpful! When my cellphone and some money were stolen in traveling, he supported everything for me. I'll be back soon!
Very friendly staff with clean facilities but its operating hours are from 6am to 8pm, so if you arrive in the middle of the night, you WILL NOT be able to enter the hostel. (learned it the hard way) In addition, the neighbourhood can seem unsafe, but the people won't bother you if you keep to yourself. Overall, a pretty good place to stay if you just want something cheap.
Great place to stay if you're not looking to go crazy in Makati. It's right in a local area (meaning cheap food and malls) and is right by an MRT station, making it by far the cheapest place to get to from the airport.
Really good, cheap, shopping is nearby with about 4 malls of varying degrees of cost, plus Green Hills is only about a 45 minute walk with a huge market.
Hostel itself is just starting to get more foreigners there and the owner is very helpful and receptive to this. If you want to see part of Manila that isn't Makati then this is the place for you.
the owner is amazing! very friendly and helpful! the location is also great! within 15min walk to Megamall! however, when u first arrive in Manila, it would be great to travel here by Uber/Grab taxi as the location is slightly deep inside. but once u r familiar with the surroundings, it is just amazing!
