"We travelled here for an event in Taupō and really enjoyed the area of Mangakino as a home base. Close access to Rotorua, Taupo made for great outings and we really enjoyed some local hiking, particularly the one recommended by Noddy and Renee in the welcome booklet. Accommodations had everything you need and all was as advertised. Would stay here again."

"Great location - easy walk or drive to the shops, golf course and lake, with unobstructed views of the river from the spacious lounge and large front deck. Friendly neighbours all around but felt really private. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom and kitchen made it a really enjoyable stay. Would definitely book again!"

"We got a family room. Was perfect for what we needed. It’s not a modern facility but it was clean, well equiped, warm and conveniently located within walking distance to our function. Cute little kitchen where you could cook a basic meal for your family if you wanted too. You do need to enter the bedroom to access the bathroom but that was ok for us. A 24hr wild bean cafe two minutes walk away. Perfect for what we needed. A clean, safe space to spend the night. Would def stay again and we will! "

"It is always our best place to stay & caters for our whanau when we all get together with such a great big space it’s just unfortunate when others don’t leave the property as clean as I would like to have it so I do tend to waste time cleaning on arrival as I always ensure it’s better than how we got it.
