Luxury Beachfront Villa on Rio Mar Beach in Resort

10/10 Excellent

"This was our 4th stay at this property, but first stay at Taylor's home. This was definitely our favorite. We liked being on lower floor so we could use stairs and not need the elevator. The view was perfect, much larger patio and furniture was perfect. Very quiet unit, quieter than the other units, though this property is never loud. This property is the perfect getaway, no need to leave, grocery store on the way in gets you Anthony you could need. Restaurants walking distance, enough variety for a weekend, but quick car ride gets you any cuisine you could want. Residents are respectful, property staff are very friendly and helpful. We were there for the ocean, the beach and water are just perfect. Taylor was a wonderful host, very good communicator, we felt very welcomed. We hope to be back soon!"

"Our room appeared clean overall; however, the large area rug had not been thoroughly vacuumed, and I even found a strand of hair caught between my toes while walking barefoot. The king-size bed was also disappointing, as it sagged noticeably on both sides. This made it uncomfortable to sleep and prevented us from lying comfortably together, as we were constantly pulled back toward our respective sides of the bed. The resort itself was beautiful, and we especially enjoyed the dining options. Since we love eating and having drinks outdoors whenever possible, 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill quickly became our go-to spot throughout the stay. The relaxed atmosphere, outdoor seating, and convenient location made it a great place to unwind. For breakfast, we dined at Roots Coastal Kitchen, which offered a continental breakfast for $25 per person or a full breakfast buffet for $35 per person. There was a good variety of options available, making it easy to find something for everyone. We also enjoyed dinner at Amaya, which features modern Spanish cuisine, as well as CAICU Bar & Tapas, where we sampled several flavorful Asian-inspired small plates. Both restaurants provided enjoyable dining experiences and added to the overall quality of our stay. We enjoyed our stay. The beautiful setting, good dining, and friendly staff made for a positive experience, and we appreciated the relaxing atmosphere throughout our visit."

"Beautiful place, great view of the ocean with 2 private pools for Ocean Villa guests right in front of you. Michelle was great, very responsive. Place was clean, ACs in both rooms and common area. Really enjoyed the stay. Only thing for people to be aware of is the ocean was very rough and it was very windy most of the days we were there. That may just be function of the week (ie bad luck) but took away a little from the overall experience."

"i have so many nice things to say about Margaritaville vacation club , it truly is that , i came here for my birthday trip with my boyfriend our original dates were may 26-31st but we actually ended up staying until june 2nd! that’s how much we enjoyed it , from when you walk in and up until you leave you feel at home , this being my first vacation and first time in puerto rico , it was nice that honestly if you don’t want to you don’t have to leave the resort everything you need is right there , if you’re more of a beach person well you have a beach connected , you like adventure ? there’s jet ski rentals on the beach as well, also their concierge is very helpful , she actually gives you a map of Puerto Rico of the hotel and things around the hotel everything she circled for us me and my boyfriend were able to do which made it very easy not having to figure out where to go zip lining or atv rides , because me and my boyfriend knew what we wanted to do obviously we didn’t know quite where yet so not having to stress about that was weight off my shoulders , there is also a brand new casino I actually quite enjoyed the music by the pool I think the Margaritaville side of the hotel is actually a little bit more fun that’s just my personal opinion staff is welcoming everyone looks like they’re enjoying their time working there"

"We had 12 family members here to celebrate mothers day. The house was amazing with plenty of room to spread out. The pool and hot tub area were like our own private resort. We were not able to use the resort pools because you need to purchase day passes ahead of time. They were sold out for 2 weeks during our time. I wish we had known that ahead of time. We did enjoy the resort restaurants, beach, golf court, casino and bars. We loved driving around on the golf carts and highly recommend renting them just to get to the beach. The hill would be a tiring climb back to the home. Being up on the hill provided beautiful views. We loved that refillable water dispensers were provided during our stay so we didn't need to worry about purchasing water bottles. The beds were super comfy. We felt like we were staying in a museum with the artwork which was fun to check out in each of the rooms. Staff was responsive to any items that needed attention. We hired the private chef for 3 meals and highly recommend the Surf and Turf option. It was 5 star quality and presentation. It was so nice to have meals prepared and clean up done. We felt like royalty. The Hot Tub was super hot which was perfect. Just how you would want it. There are plenty of beach supplies to keep all ages entertained. The surf and boogie boards got good use. We traveled to the rain forest and did a snorkel cruise to Culebra Island. Great trip! Highly recommend this home. "
