「The Bear Necessities Cabin had everything I wanted. Centrally located to mountain biking and hiking. Only 5 miles from Cortez for picking up food, etc. Relatively quiet, peaceful, and scenic. Amenities like a decently equipped kitchen, and a clothes washer and dryer for my extended stay made for a comfortable stay. 「This was a perfect spot for us. We were met by a very nice man on a golf cart and taken to our rustic cabin. Hot day and ac was set perfectly for us. It was college move in weekend. We didn’t get time to use pool, but next time we will. Showers were hot and short walk for us. Beautiful sunsets each nice. We will return.」

The place was conveniently located near downtown Durango for shopping and for catching the train to Silverton and Mesa Verde National Park.
