Hotel is in very good location, close to the city centre. Room are nice but need more lighting, especially rooms with no windows. Hotel definitely needs air-conditioning, fans are not working well in hot weather.

Helpful, friendly staff. Large twin room, window opened and room aired. Clean. Basic furnishings. Extra towels, blanket, fan in wardrobe.
Arrived a little flustered, due to transportation problems, just after midnight and the staff were brilliant. Front desk agent, managing some of the booking saw I was tired and so gave me a nice room to go to, really spacious. And I love the new carpet. Not sure why the hotel has any bad reviews as stayed a few times and never had any issues.
Anyway, great staff and that carpet is mint.
Great location. Room was very spacious. The window did not open which made it slightly warm and the 2 lamps were not sufficient for, in my case, packing at night after being at an event. Would like to see a fridge in the room too as was big enough. A fan is provided and this did help the heat issue. Bathroom was lovely and a good size too. Would stay again though.

The sixth floor had cyclical banging noise from which I believe is from maintenance needs, very disturbing.
Other than that, quite good room and worth its price for its value. Nice staff and seamless. Security at door too.
I always stay in this hotel when I visit Manchester because the hotel in the heart of the city. It is walking distance to the tram stop, shopping and dining.
What I like the most are the size of the rooms. The double rooms are of very reasonable price, very spacious and always have a bathtub in the bathroom which not many hotels offer at that price.
I also choose this hotel because the rooms have excellent lighting. Most hotel have very poor and dim lighting which is bad fof the eye. The rooms in this hotel have ceiling light and 2 lamps which I feel should be the minimum requirement for a standard double room.
No air con. How can this hotel expect guests to be happy in rooms that have no air con. Was over 30 degrees outside and the hotel rooms were like saunas.
Not acceptable. Slept terrible.
The fan in the room only circulated hot air around the room.
Good location.
Car park is 10 mins away.
Owners need to spend money on this hotel.
Clearly poor reviews don’t bother owners!
