A terrible experience, the place was constantly cold. We controlled the heating and it didn’t work. We had to buy a small heater for the kids to stay warm. The shower was broken basically leaking. They provided 3 shampoos in the toilet it’s like they didn’t even check the place before arrival. The TV wasn’t working & worst of all there was a broken glass on the floor in the kitchen I stepped on. Expensive place but not worth the payment. Highly disappointed But the staff were nice.

Getting to the property wasn't easy and straightforward. There was no indication of the name outside the building it took us a while to locate it and it has another name apart from what was on the property when we booked it. The night we arrived there was no heating the alternative apartment offered to us was smaller and the the receptionist was in a hurry to go home. We had to sort out the heating problem by ourselves the person that took over from was not helpful either. Not sure how it works most times you get to the reception there was no one. The emergence number given to us to call was not answered at all. The day we checked our not hot water we couldn't have our showers and no one to complain to. We left not able to attend to our personal care

Beautiful apartment but poor service

When we arrived the beds were unmade, dirty cutlery in dishwashers and no clean towels as the cleaner never turned up and the apartment was never checked before we turned up. We told the host we were happy to say there as long as we got fresh bedding to change the sheets and on the basis that a cleaner would come between 9-10 the following morning which they agreed to. It came to 10:20 the following morning and no one arrived which resulted in numerous calls and the cleaner then arriving while we were out with no key to lock up etc. Overall the apartment is beaitiful just a shame the service and cleanliness was so bad. Nice location opposite the prison.

All you need

The apartments are great. Clean and tidy, functional and very well decorated. Everything except a kettle was provided but we used a saucepan! I was surprised to see a washer dryer and dishwasher. It would be a bit cramped for 4 but great for 2. Had a bit of a problem getting checked in - make sure you ring about 30 minutes before arriving and if no answer, ring ASA. Situation is great. There’s a £4 a day car park on the corner opposite the main entrance to Strangeways and the Arena is just up the road. Cathedral area is 10 minutes as is the Arndale Centre. I will go again!

The place was new but the overall very disappointing. There are few tips for fellow users: 1. Purchase loo roles before going to this place. 2. The temp of the apartment does not go above 18 C. During cold times you need warm clothes in the apartment. 3. check-in is an issue 4. Purchase extra data as there is no WiFi
