The house was decorated very well, was spotless and we were so grateful that there were a few snacks and drinks in the kitchen when we arrived. We would love to return!"

"It was everything we needed. It was small enough for two people and it had everything you could need. The community feels safe, quiet, calm, and welcoming. The location is perfect, close enough to anything you could do in Austin. The experience was very cute and comfortable and the hosts were very nice and friendly. "We really enjoyed our stay at Shadowland. Beautiful property that is well taken care of. The vintage 1956 airstream is super cool, even thought its been updated its a glimpse back in time, to a time when things were built with quality and built to last. The hot tub was awesome, very peaceful property, easy to relax. Lots of stuff to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area."

"Me and my family went to this property to view the total eclipse and enjoy some time away from home for a weekend. While we did catch a lot of clouds for the event the rest of the stay was quite enjoyable. We had no issues staying cool with the great airflow of the property, keeping the mosquitos out of the barn, or making simple meals. "My stay at the drawing room was wonderful! The rooms were very clean and spacious and bright. The Christmas tree was a welcome surprise."

"The place is in a great part of Austin and is a walkable distance to parks and grocery stores. It had everything I needed with lots of kitchen utensils. The place was clean, bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. While there is some noise as it’s close to both a highway and train tracks, I work from home and had no issues. The host is super nice and her dog and cats were also friendly. Overall it was one of the best stays I’ve had!"

"Directions on the whole parking and check in process need to be a little shorter. There was no tv in the master bedroom, despite the fact that there are pics of a tv online. One of the mirrors in the other bedroom was dirty so I cleaned it. There was also some blue crusty stuff on the side table in the master.
