The staff were amazing. They helped me set up transportation for the volcano hike and to get to and from the ferry. They responded immediately on WhatsApp. I left a shirt there and the next day they sent someone to San Juan to deliver it to me.

Property is beautiful, staff is very friendly and helpful. Food and drinks were delicious! the infinity pool looks different on pictures definitely not an infinity pool. The view was breathtaking, worth the drive up the steep mountain, I highly recommend to check in early so you know where you’re going as the drive way is all rugged and ruff. I wasn’t advised that we needed a 4X4 or taller vehicle in order to go up, with out scraping the rocks or boulders. So I had to ask them to help me find a driver to take us up to the hotel. I had to pay an extra fee for a driver to take us up and scheduled him to bring us back down otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to get there and loose our room. And we had to pay for parking to keep our rental in a safe place overnight.

Personal muy amable, area restaurante lindo, piscina linda, vista espectacular. Habitacion familiar de 2 habitaciones estaba muy por debajo de todas las otras habitaciones, se sentia muy descuidada y abandonada lo que fue una lastima

The view from the room was absolutely amazing. The WiFi was ok, just keep in mind this is an eco hotel so the water is not hot, the toilets are compost besides the check in area, no air conditioning etc but our stay was amazing and well worth it. I recommend an SUV to get to the property (we brought ours on the ferry)

We loved it! Staying in a jungle cabin on a volcano was incredible. My only suggestion is to update the matttresses. They were old and sunk in the middle. Other than that, we loved it!

Peaceful

Peaceful and cozy cabins. Cabins have off the grid toilets and outdoor showers. The volcano view is monumental. The only thing I would like to be adjusted is the loud talking from the kitchen staff in the mornings before breakfast.

. While the property is beautiful, our experience raised serious concerns. Prior to arrival, we clearly informed Totoco Lodge that our son has a severe peanut allergy. Despite this, a meal was served with peanuts without our knowledge, causing an anaphylactic reaction that required an EpiPen. Given the remote location, medical care was over an hour away. We were also disappointed that the meal was not removed from our bill after the incident. Guests should also know that this is more of an eco-lodge/camping experience than a resort. Toiletries are not provided, so come prepared. The Wednesday “Dinner Under the Sky” event was also very expensive and, in our opinion, not worth the cost

Not a hotel but an experience

This place is incredible. The staff is amazing. The view is to die for and the rooms are so cozy. You have to spend extra time here to take advantage of their donation based activities. We did a sound bath and it changed my life.
