Good check-in process, and the location is good. The property shows some neglect; visible mold in the windows in the bathroom, and the heaters were fairly inefficient.
No CO detectors were noted, only smoke detectors. Several guests experienced headaches and nausea after using the fireplace that improved while outside.

Great mountain experience
Nice, clean cute little place with everything you need. Great views, ski right back to the front door! Definitely stay there again!
Check in was contact free. Enjoyed this location very much as it’s close to everything but still feelS like a cabin in the woods. Would recommend this location.
Enjoyed our stay very much. The place was super clean and well outfitted.
We would stay here again. Our only complaint was super loud neighbors partying outside until 2 am. They woke us up both Sat and Sun night, which was a bummer.
Beautiful charming place with some nice upgrades. Not exactly roomy in MSTR but very close to skiing, gondola rides and restaurants. Our family loved it!! So did our family dog. He loved playing in the snow!

Wonderful location
Our family of four really enjoyed this cute and quaint cabin. We stayed during the summer and the outdoor space on the deck was wonderful. The proximity to mountain biking was a plus. The on-site staff was friendly and helpful. The bedroom was small but equipped with a dresser so that we could unpack our clothing. The loft, with four twin beds, was a great space for the kids. The kitchen was well stocked and had enough unoccupied cabinet space for us to store our groceries. The bathroom was clean and stocked with plenty of fresh towels, soap, and shampoo. The only limiting factor is the lack of spa. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful snow adventure!
Originally we were supposed to stay in cabin #2 from Tuesday through Friday but because of the major snow storm we couldn’t go on Tuesday since the roads were closed. Karen was able to extend our stay for one day and switch us to cabin #10 without additional costs, even though that cabin was bigger and more expensive. We had wonderful time staying in our cabin, the location is fantastic - just few minutes Main lodge. Kids also could play and sled right outside the cabin! The cabin itself was very clean, cozy, and had everything we could possibly need. Karen is a great host, very easy and quick to communicate. Even though we had some issues with central heating and hot water (because of the snow storm), Karen and her husband did everything they could to resolve the problems quickly and make us feel at home. We highly recommend!
Great location and everything was perfect for our stay. Excellent view of the mountain and easy access to Devil's Postpile & the San Joaquin River. We will return!
Very clean , wasn’t far from the town but the cabins made you feel like you were in the woods. Perfect place to stay and go hiking with the dogs. Nothing was more than 30 mins away. Would absolutely stay again
We were very pleased with the property. Very clean, with plenty of supplies available. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools you might need to cook a family meal! Definitely, a pet friendly property, which we loved! Easy access to hiking, lakes, and the village. Can't wait to go back!
We had a great stay at Chalet 2, and the condo was warm, roomy, well stocked and clean. We especially liked the fireplace which came in handy on cold nights.
Julia and Shelley were helpful in arranging our arrival. We enjoyed our trip thoroughly.
Cheers,
Ian and Nancy

The only place to stay in Mammoth!
The only place to stay in Mammoth! Debbie is AMAZING, and the chalets are so cute and cosy. We stayed in chalet 15, which had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and plenty of space for our party of 6. The location is incredible, the lifts and lodge were only a few hundred feet away. We just strapped in and skiied down to the lifts!
The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to cook your meals, including a BBQ. The chalet retains heat very well, and has a fireplace and heaters throughout. The beds were all very comfortable, and so are the couches. Plenty of room to hang out inside if you're not into skiing.
We are already planning our return trip! Thank you to Debbie and all the womderful staff at Mammoth Mountain Chalets for making our stay so easy and enjoyable.

Clean, cute, extremely convinient to ski lifts and slope.
This place was great. We only stayed 2 nights during summer, but it is very convinient to the gondola for mountain biking, and we will probably return for ski season.
Only complaint was no WiFi instructions, and the curtains could maybe be a little darker, as the morning sun really shines into front large windows. Not a big deal when sleeping in back bedroom.
We would return, no doubt.

The most perfect, year-round cabin with an unbeatable location!
We absolutely love this cabin!! My boyfriend and I have been coming here with friends and family every Winter and Summer for the past seven years and it never fails to meet any of our expectations. It seems like every time we go up here something is new or another amenity is added, which makes it that much harder to leave after every trip. In the Winter, we literally park outside the cabin and never have to worry about transportation again! You are right across the street from the main lodge, which makes it super convenient to get a morning run in, then you can board back to the cabin doorstep for a quick lunch. You can walk to the free shuttle that will take you anywhere in town all day. In the Summer, we spend hours at one of the many nearby lakes or rivers fly fishing, hiking, biking, and just relaxing. Mammoth always has fun festivals and and events going on in the Summer, so it always gives us something to do. This cabin is ideal for anyone who is looking for a getaway in the mountains!

Best cabin to stay in!
This is the best cabin to stay in for a snowboarding/skiing vacation. It is located walking distance from the slopes. You can literally get dressed and walk out your door to the ski lifts. The cabin itself was very clean, and has amazing views when you wake up in the morning. From the time we booked it, to the time we left, it was a very relaxing, fun, and stress-free vacation. I highly reccomend this cabin if you want the ultimate Mammoth vacation.

Great Location, Clean, Ski in/out, Best rental
I have been visiting mammoth since I was a child and have stayed at many different condos, cabins and hotels. I first stayed at this cabin a few years ago and can say it's definitely the best I have personally stayed at. In fact, I have only stayed here since my first visit. It's very close to chair 1 which makes getting on and off the mountain a breeze. The cabin itself is very clean and seems to get better each time I stay there. It has everything I have ever needed and then some. Have never had issues with anyone staying at a surrounding cabin and the management is very helpful. They even will help you move all of your gear from your car to the cabin when you arrive, and back to the car on your way out on their tractor. This has been very helpful when arriving during a snowstorm. Can't wait
Till my next stay!

Mammoth Snowboard Trip 2013
My friends and I celebrated my birthday in mammoth and decided to rent a cabin instead of staying at a resort. I am glad we did. This cabin felt like home. We made most of our meals at the cabin, including baking my birthday cake. I especially enjoyed that, because that is not something you can do at a resort. There were 6 of us who shared this cabin and we had plenty of room for our luggage and all of our gear. Parking is also very convenient, which made bringing our bags in easy. We all loved the fact that you can get to the lifts by just a short, few minute walk and at the end of every run we were able to snowboard right to the front of the cabin. There was also room for us to sled right outside the door. It's in a quiet area and we didn't have any issues with neighbors or the owners. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. I plan to book here at this location again.

Great Comfortable Mammoth Cabin!
My first trip to mammoth I stayed in this cabin, since that trip I have visited Mammoth several times, staying in other facilities and this cabin is by far my favorite. It has a great location, just a short walk to the lifts, and there are several runs you can take that allow you to ski/snowboard right to the front door. My family and I only left the cabin to ski/snowboard and to go to the grocery store. We were able to cook all our meals inside (the cabin has all the cooking stuff you need) which is important to my family. We have a few restrictions when it comes to our food, so being able to cook for ourselves made us more comfortable. There is also a nice TV in the living room, making watching movies together relaxing and enjoyable. The cabin had a selection of DVDs available. There is also cable in the cabin which we appreciated as well. We never had any issues with the bathroom or any furniture, so all in all, our time spent here was great and I would recommend it.
