Interstellar is a rare opportunity to stay in two neighboring luxury townhomes at Mountainside Mammoth, just steps from Canyon Lodge. By combining Bear’s Den (Mountainside #6) and Apogee (Mountainside #7), this listing offers the ideal setup for large families or groups who want to travel together while still enjoying the privacy and comfort of two separate homes.

Together the residences provide 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms with comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 16 adults. With host approval, the homes can accommodate up to 20 guests when children are included.

Located just below Canyon Lodge, one of Mammoth Mountain’s most popular ski portals, Interstellar places you within easy walking distance of lifts, ski school, the Village Gondola, and year-round transit stops. It’s one of the most convenient mountain locations in Mammoth for both winter and summer adventures.

Each townhome offers its own distinct style and personality.

Bear’s Den (#6) embraces a warm and welcoming mountain atmosphere with rustic woods, leather seating, and cozy touches that make it feel like a true alpine basecamp.

Apogee (#7) blends mountain-modern design with thoughtful craftsmanship, vintage textiles, and striking photography to create a refined yet relaxed retreat.

Together they provide the perfect balance for multi-family trips or groups of friends—shared gathering spaces alongside quiet private retreats.

After a day on the mountain, relax on the balconies of both homes where you’ll find:

We had the pleasure of renting these two units last year, and were extremely grateful to find that they were available again this year!!Mary Beth and the Adventure Refined team have been an absolute pleasure to work with and made booking and managing our stays with our students extremely easy (and one of the last things on our mind) when booking a university tripThe units come fully stocked with everything we could need:- Kitchen supplies (toaster, microwave, stove, oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, dishwasher pods, kitchen soap, paper towels, and more)- Amenities that make the stay super pleasant (hot tub, HVAC, washer/dryer)- Having three bathrooms with showers in each unit make it easily manageable to have 8 people in each (and really NICE bathrooms at that)Communication-wise:- We received regular and helpful text communications with links to all the resources we could need to easily answer our questions- The team was super accessible and responded quickly to our texts and inquiries- They cared and checked inWe definitely look forward to booking and staying here again! The hosts were AMAZING!! They were extremely helpful and responsive from the moment we booked our stay. They were always accessible for questions. The Interstellar combination was just fantastic for our family!! Two units that were connected made it so easy for our family to both have private down time and wonderful family time at every step of our trip. The condos were fully equipped and very clean. We will definitely be returning in the future!!

Both places were nice, clean, and great location. We did have some issues with construction that was planned and being done on the actual properties when we arrived, which certainly surprised us. But the team at Adventure Refined helped to ensure it stopped and didn't continue through the rest of our stay. Not an ideal situation, but they did what they could to ensure our stay was as pleasant as possible. If not for what they did for us, this would be a low rating due to the inconvenience this caused. But I had no issues with the properties themselves (really really nice and updated) or with the Adventure Refined team.

Ski-in/ski-out? Does't get much better than that!

We are extremely grateful for our stay here in this dual-townhouse. Thanks to this place, we were able to bring 18 students out for Spring Break (many of whom had never been to Mammoth before), and provide a safe and awesome ski and snowboarding experience.With it only being a 2 minute walk to Canyon Lodge, it allowed us to be able to bury our cars in the garage the whole trip, and gave our students the flexibility to walk to and from the mountain at their own leisure.Having two places next door to each other, also made the trip super easy to manage with plenty of beds, towels, and dishes to accommodate for all of us.The hosts were extremely friendly and easy to get in touch and coordinate with. Thank you so much again for this stay - we hope we can make this an annual trip for many years to come!

Mammoth trip

Comfortable and well equipped. Great communication with the managers. Easy in and out. Bathrooms were large with instant hot water. Use of garage was nice for all of the equipment and a vehicle, pus parking in front.

Awesome ski trip

Very well received buy the entire group location is the best. Ski locker was an unexpected surprise very nice. Had a brief issue with one of the hot tubs was taken care of within minutes of me texted - Excellent customer service and communication from everyone associated with the property.

Awesome cabin!

First, I cannot say enough about how fantastic the property management team are. They are so well organized, making the check in and out processes very easy. Once we arrived, they went out of their way to resolve any issues and make sure we had a fabulous stay. Now for the cabin itself, it is beautiful, extremely well-stocked with kitchenware, games, bbq. Everything was very clean and welcoming when we arrived There are several places to have a meal or a snack. The furniture is clean and on the newer side, but still very cozy to just hang out. The area is very nice, backs up to a ski lift. We definitely enjoyed our stay here and would return to this property.

Gorgeous, extremely convenient ❄️Mammoth❄️ group house

We had five families all with children, wanting to stay together to celebrate a birthday and enjoy all of the recent snow. The property was the nicest we have ever stayed in at Mammoth, and so incredibly convenient with its location right next to Canyon Lodge. Mary Beth was extremely communicative before and during our stay. We were there during the biggest blizzard of the year and she even managed to get crews out to help address little needs that we had throughout the weekend.
