"This little piece of heaven down in the heart of Royal Oak is so much better than any large chain hotel we have ever stayed at. The attention to detail is top notch. The staff- amazing, friendly and really just OUTSTANDING! The grounds are impeccably clean, with little seating areas and firepits everywhere. I can not give this place enough starts! Will definitely being staying here again! "

"Worst place I almost stayed at! I went in stayed for like 40 min and had to check right out..got locked inside the bathroom because they didnt have a handle on the door on the inside. Water wouldn't get warm despite running it for 20 min, black mold on some walls and hair in the tub and on the floor. Place was gross..stains everywhere on walls, blanket, bed, towels, everywhere. Heard a rat in the drop ceiling in the hall! Couch was caved in. Had some flys in there! Dont know how thats even possible with it being winter 😳. Asked for a different room only to be told all the rooms are like that. Dont say you wasn't warned!"

"It was a nice scenery, the house was somewhat clean but reeked if marijuana and then there was ashes and left over condoms in the drawers. Overall it was a comfy stay, I just wish it was more tidy."

"I really enjoyed my stay. The house was well-equipped and had everything I needed. Dishes, glassware, pots and pans were very nice. The beds were super comfortable with nice linens. The lovely dining area (seats 4) and big bathroom made the place feel so much nicer than staying in a hotel. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Michigan to visit family."
