「The staff are just excellent! Warm greetings from the moment you arrive and so many nice touches to make the stay memorable. Kind and professional staff, excellent breakfast with an amazing view, nice rooftop pool and bar, everyone was so accommodating and the rooms are spacious. The first room I had was a bit dated, could use updating especially the bathroom fixtures, but the staff gladly moved me to a nicer room on a higher floor which made a big difference. Will stay here again, perfect...
「The location of the hotel in the more local part of the city allowed for a more chill and authentic feel in Lapa. Plently of food, bars, and nighlife options were available next to the hotel. Staff was attentive and very helpful along with a beautiful property. 」

We only had a small view of the beach from the balcony. The shower hose was broken, the water was weak and it leaked. Still, thanks to the great staff, I’ll definitely come back to PortoBay.」
