「What a wonderful find! We have been staying in Rangeley for years for week long vacations but all we needed this visit was one night for a lovely wedding at the Mountain Star Estate. This spot was perfect..a warm welcome, adorable spotless apartment, and perfect location near downtown and the venue. Highly recommend and will not be our last stay when we want to steal away to enjoy a couple days of some Rangeley love!」

「The apartment is charming. The location is ideal. The owners are friendly and helpful. We loved having coffee on the dock in the morning, swimming and paddling on the lake, walking into town, exploring the area, and enjoying the view in the evening. As others have mentioned, there was a lot of ferrying visitors back and forth from the island, but once we got used to it, it didn't bother us at all. We were also happy that we could bring our dog. 」

「We booked for two nights. Had an awesome time at Sugarloaf. Such a nice experience to be able to get right on the lifts in the morning and ski back down to the place after dinner and drinks at the base restaurant.」

「Proximity of the property to the lift and fitness center was ideal, walking distance to both. The major downfall is the 58 steps it takes to get to the unit itself. Definitely a difficult scenario after skiing all day or carrying belongings up. Would have been nice if there was access to the dumbwaiter. Overall a nice place.」

「This was the perfect place for a single or a couple. The king size bed was super comfortable. The enclosed deck was very nice to hang out on. I appreciated having a hair dryer available. The shower head was amazing. Just a couple of items would have been a nice creature comfort for guest. A starter bar of soap, wash cloths, instructions on how to lock the electronic lock when leaving (took me 2 days to figure that one out). It is a lot of stairs so just be aware. I will absolutely stay here...

「The wife and I booked this spot for a weekend getaway. Really lovely, spacious (for two) and well appointed. Quiet neighborhood, beautiful view and deer everywhere! Communications with the owner were excellent as well. Will likely book again. Thanks!」
