「We had peaceful getaway at the Hix Lake and Cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a well-equipped, generously stocked kitchen. Its location on the private lake is serene with no other houses in sight.The real show-stopper was the outdoor areas. 「The cabin was beautiful and clean. Perfect for 2. The hosts had a nice reception book ready that was clear and helpful. We did have an issue with the WiFi that was undergoing improvements, but the host was very helpful and responsive and we got it going. If we are ever back in the area this cabin will be the first place I check.」

「Clean room. Could use a bit of clean up outside with limbs for better view of lake. Docks near property were in poor shape making it an eyesore. Batteries dead in remotes. 「This is the second year we have chose to stay here. Love the convenience of the river right off the deck. Plenty of room for family to enjoy and stretch out. The house is conveniently located close to grab groceries when needed. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Only 25 min trip to Bennett Springs to book float trips or fish.
