This was a very conveniently located hotel. Just a 3 minute walk from the train station and next to the bus stop for the ride up to Machi Picchu. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Only the climb up the stairs to the rooms left us exhausted but i think that’s just the altitude greeting us.

We found as a family of 4 this hotel to be excellent. The beds are comfortable, staff friendly, they allowed us to store our bags after check out, breakfast was yummy and my favorite was that its right on the river making it relaxing and great for people watching.

Ideally located, tidy and available staff. Good hot water. The hotel provided bagged lunches for us to take to Machu Picchu which was unexpected and kind.

Nice receptionist, great location looking over market. Close to Consetteur bus. Newly built or renovated, clean and quiet. No elevator, so big climb if on 5th floor!

Modern, clean room. Nice breakfast included. Staff was kind and exceptional. Location was fantastic with a wonderful view. Toilet has issues but very normal for the area. Very affordable. The location and the staff made this a place to return to!

Their location is unbeatable! You just have to walk down the stairs to catch the bus to Machu Picchu, and the train station is right across the street. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. However, the price was supposed to be $170. The lady asked if I wanted to be charged in soles (Peruvian currency), which I agreed to because paying in the local currency is usually more beneficial when it comes to bank exchange rates. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. The final charge ended up being $188 (extra 5% for card payments $8.5 plus additional soles charged). This was disappointing, as the additional costs were unexpected and not clearly explained. I believe this practice is unethical, as customers should be informed of all extra charges upfront and charged the agreed-upon price.

This is a gem! So close to train station and bus station to MP. Opens to a balcony with gorgeous view. Homely breakfast. People are so generous and kind! Have to book again here. Running river is free white-noise throughout night for a good sleep.

Great stay ! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! The location is perfect! Literally a couple buildings down from the bus station. They made us breakfast to go by our request to catch an early morning bus with with kids. Shower was warm! You could hear the river at night and town. But that’s better than the train station. We were in unit 5 so we were right under breakfast. I just wish they put felt on the bottom of the chairs as we could hear them in the morning scraping but it’s a small building and breakfast ends early. Lots of stairs but we didn’t mind. I think if you don’t like stairs than you won’t like this vacation regardless. The view from the room was worth the stairs :)

Very covenient location close to everything. A little noisy from dogs barking and river rapids. Host and hostest are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with eggs cooked the way you like them. For the price it was a good value.
