"As this is a self check-in it would be most helpful to have a three-ring binder listed with items such as “how to” use the peat stove, turn on the hot water, turn on the heat, identify the wifi code. There is a binder filled with bar and restaurant info but what I recommend is different. I did email the host about the wifi code and he let me know it is posted near the TV. As I don’t watch TV I did not think to look in that space. I wanted to try the peat stove as on my Dingle Way walk I saw...

"Cannot say enough good things about this little cottage. It’s excellently located to all the best attractions in Kerry, and it’s perfectly situated in the country but close enough to Castleisland to make getting groceries and going to the local pub easy. The caretaker, Timmy, built a fire for us twice and a local man gave my Dad an autographed book of his own poetry. Absolutely perfect accommodation for a family trip."

"We had a great week at Bedrock cottage, we were able to easily access the Beara Peninsula as well as other magnificent parts of the Ring of Kerry. "The setting was beautiful. Just outside the national park. The check-in procedure was fine but we had no idea where to go. There are no signs for “The Reserve.” The apartment was pleasant but it needed a good deep cleaning. There was all kinds of stuff on the floor, long hairs in the shower floors and pube hairs on the wall of the shower. The lack of air conditioning was fine. We opened the windows and it was cool.
