"Property was clean, well-maintained. This property is quiet! Which is what we wanted! Beds were comfortable. Cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the area. Host suggested two places to eat and they were both amazing ( Home Sweet Home in Lanesboro and Aroma Pie in Waylon) We will look forward to going back and staying again !"

"We just needed a place to stay for one night having come down from the cities to pick our daughter up from end of semester at Luther. The price was right, we thought. The pictures looked nice enough. When we left, we agreed it would be our future “go to” place! The camper was as nice as any hotel, plus the added bonus of a stream and waterfall, campfire, horses, pasture…doesn’t get any better. Wish we could’ve stayed longer…Next time!!"

"This property is one of a kind! The pond is perfect for kids to play and fish. Wonderful view while drinking coffee on the porch in the mornings was a great way to start the day. A lot of wildlife to see and trout fishing close by kept everyone busy! The house is stocked with anything you might need for cooking. The owners were very easy to communicate with. If you’re looking for a very quiet, secluded vacation this is the place!"

"Beautiful setting right on the Upper Iowa River. Very private. Very clean. This was a girl's trip (5 of us) and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. We are already talking about coming back. The only issue we had was no railing on the steps going into the house (even though it was only a few steps) and railing only on one side of the steps going to the basement. We had a couple people with mobility issues and had to be very careful. We strongly suggest getting railings in those 2 places. One...

"This is our third stay at Money Creek Ranch and we will be back! Amy is THE BEST attentive host that thinks of all the details to make our stay pleasant. We all have our favorite spot here- a young one on the swing, a family member in the hammock, someone reading on the deck, and me around the fire pit star gazing between the bluffs. "Fantastic property, very quiet, the neighbors were loud outside and I didn’t hear them at all while inside. I do wish there had been more patio seating. I’m not sure how many it was meant to have as I’m certain the neighbors took several but I suspect there were only a couple chairs at the small table to begin with."
