Unwind at Casa Amazona: a peaceful, sustainable, stylishly furnished studio/one-room apartment with a private bathroom and a private terrace in a large shared garden. After an immersive trip as a writer with the Yawana Indian tribe in the Amazon rainforest, Sandra promised the chief that she would address global warming through her lectures and help everyone find peace and relaxation in this tranquil natural setting. Here, you’ll still be woken up in the morning by the many waterbirds along the canal.
“Casa Amazona” is a second, brand-new vacation home located at the “Casa Sandra Elisa” inn along the canal, right near the national park and the Meuse River. Author Sandra Elisa lives and works there with her family and pets. You’ll have your own terrace in a shared backyard, and there’s a large picnic table at the front of the vast shared garden. After a peaceful immersion trip with the Yawana Indians, she decided to furnish this stylish studio sustainably with, among other things, recycled furniture and items from the Amazon rainforest, with the help of a renowned interior designer who has also showcased his work at “Burning Man.”
