Breakfast was included and was great quality. Nice coconut yoghurt with chia. Lots of fresh bread, eggs etc. Nicr to be able to grab a quick breakfast on the way out. Location is excellent, just 5 minutes from Lyon Part Dieu station. Staff all very polite and efficient. Rooms were clean but very small. Good hotel if you are travelling or out all day.

The Rhonexpress Tram from the airport stops right at the front door. The Metro and SNCFstation are behind it. So transportation in and out was a breeze. Very comfy beds. Great breakfast. Lovely shower.

Very hospitable - went to wrong Ibis (there are 5 within spitting distance of each other and have a map for people like us). Our Ibis was in a tall building, overlooked the train station (may not be to everyone’s taste), they gave us a goodie bag on arrival and had the largest room we encountered on our trip, along with coffee in the room. Grateful for the hospitality.

Ibis in Lyon

Main complaints were the absence of air conditioning in April and the inability to keep the window open WIDE. They do provide water, carbonated water, coffee and croissants in the lobby. This hotel would have been 4 if we weren’t so heated in the room.

The hotel is very well located for transport as at the end of tram link to airport, metro, other trams, buses and main train station. Also, very near to (Westfield) Part Dieu shopping centre. Good idea to take a flask to take hot water up to the room for tea, bring a few long life milks too. Shower very good, although horrible clicking sound on door. Staff are generally very friendly and helpful, however some of the breakfast staff a little grumpy. Very quiet rooms. But main issue is the room was too warm and no way to reduce it. No air con, or had been switched over to winter heating... and it was 25c one day (which is odd for October). The mattress was overly warm too - soft - but added to the heat - so sleeping was intermittent. Some road works at the moment in the area- but none that had a material effect. Finally, whilst good transport location, not so much for nice local restaurants - so best to make use of the transport and in 15-20 mins you can be somewhere with more choices and atmosphere.

This was my favorite location that I stayed at during my 3 week vacation in France. I stayed at a location in Paris and a location in the South of France. This was my favorite. Clean, organized and well taken care of. The location was perfect. Train station is right next door plus the shuttle train to/from the airport is directly in front of the hotel. Huge mall located behind, give yourself a day - not exaggerating - The breakfast was incredible compared to the other locations and other hotels I stayed at. The Chia pudding 👌 props to whoever makes it. Lots of options. The staff were incredibly kind and approachable. My bed was SO comfortable. It was the relief I needed for my back ache. The one thing I do need to note is that the room I stayed in is not soundproof. There was a lot of commotion that I could hear in the mornings, but other than that this hotel was wonderful.( Furniture or items being moved/rolled, doors shutting) I highly recommend staying here during your visit to Lyon.

Pro: Posizione comoda, vicino alla stazione ferroviaria e alla fermata del tram per l'aeroporto. Un po' distante dal centro ma collegata con i mezzi pubblici. Personale gentile e disponibile. Acqua e caffè disponibili nella hall a qualsiasi ora. Contro: Dimensioni della camera un po' ridotte, mancanza dell'armadio, materassi troppo morbidi.

Great location across from the RhoneExpress which makes getting there from and to the airport very easy. The hotel has great soundproof windows so even though you are near the main train station, you do not hear any noise in your room. It's very close to the Westfield Part Dieu mall which has great shopping. The included breakfast was great with a wide variety of items including croissants, cheeses, and even chia seed pudding! I would recommend staying here.
