We had a lovely warm welcome when we arrived! Jane, the owner, provided all the local knowledge needed to plan our few days away including where to eat, get takeout etc. Jane would happily go the extra mile to make sure you have the best time. The kitchen is very well equipped and it was great that we didnโt have to buy condiments..Beds are really comfortable and nicely made up. It was a wonderful chilled break away!Would definitely return and recommend as the area is well located for sight seeing and woodland walks. The only downside was that we had to leave so soonโฆ
Cottage was perfect for our stay, well equipped, both small front garden & large back garden safely fenced & definitely dog friendly. Beds comfy, great sleep as such a peaceful area. Jane was great host, doing a happy & hospitable job & only next door, & readily available if you need her. Will definitely return.Cottage is easy to find & great base for exploring Forest of Dean & surrounding areas

We had a lovely stay at the cottage and would happily return. The location is peaceful and perfect for a family break, surrounded by beautiful countryside and great walks nearby. It was an ideal base for exploring the Forest of Dean and the surrounding areas. The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable, and well equipped, and it felt very welcoming after long days out. Our children especially loved seeing the sheep and chickens greeting us at the front door, it made the stay feel extra special and really added to the countryside experience.Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay in a charming setting. Thank you for having us!

Lovely little cottage next to the woodland. The owners were really welcoming and the cottage was fully equipped and really clean. It was the nicest one we have ever stayed in. This will certainly be our first choice if we come down this way again.
My husband and I had such a lovely stay at Jane's house. It is a lovely cosy house with everything we needed for our stay and very central for visiting the main spots of the Forest of Dean. Jane is a super friend and helpful host and great with communicating. We would definitely stay again.
Cosy cottage in lovely location. A good meeting point between West Wales and the West Country. We loved exploring the Forest of Dean. Also a lovely walk from the cottage. Nice welcome from host Jane.
