The room was really spacious and had an awesome lake view. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They give you a free bus pass to use during your stay. You get on right out front and it takes you to the city center or train station in about 15 minutes. Very easy and convenient. After a day of sightseeing it was nice to come back to our room, make some hot tea, and slip into a cozy robe and slippers. We asked for a lake view room upon reservation and when we arrived, we were upgraded to a suite with not only a lake view, but a balcony. The accommodations were not only spacious and comfortable, but the room was beautifully appointed with an antique desk and dresser, lovely chandeliers, roomy closets and a double sink bathroom. Details and little touches make this hotel special. We received a bowl of fruit, a handwritten note of welcome, and binoculars to enjoy the spectacular views offered...

A beautiful, historic property with fabulous views over the lake to the Alps. Excellent staff and service. A very good meal in an elegant dining room with a view to the waterfall. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling in the Interlsken area.

This hotel was wonderful! Very friendly staff and cute interior design. There is no AC but everything else made up for it. Breakfast was a great bonus!
