"Great views. Surly unhelpful staff, except for the bartender who was friendly and extremely attentive. The rooms are on the 2nd floor with no elevator. I asked for a room with a view of the golf course and wad given a small attic like room with a slanted wall that I kept hitting with my head. The breakfast was fine."

The restaurant food was good and the wait staff, although trying and working hard seemed a little confused - I think there were some internal misunderstandings about the hotel procedures among the staff. "We had a basic room (average amount of space, etc) Came with mini bar but no coffee in room. Shower leaked on bathroom flood and hair dryer did not work. Room key is required to keep lights on (and only one was provided for 2 people). Did not use pool or spa. Village is quite nice, location of hotel was good for visitors going to castle, other sites."
