Downhill skiing? Hiking? Adventure bike rides? Whatever your favorite family outdoor adventure, your stay in our cozy 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhome located at Caribou Highlands Lodge is your basecamp at the center of everything the North Shore, located very near the trails and activity centers. Did I mention cross country skiing? How about Alpine Slide and the mountain top Gondola? Enjoying the amazing Lake Superior shore (brrr!)? We are slopeside at Lutsen Mountains Ski Area and just minutes from the big blue waters of Lake Superior. Enjoy meals at home with a fully equipped kitchen and bbq grill on the deck. Enjoy the in-unit private Sauna! Community amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, spa, playground, walking trails, Moguls Grille (that patio though!!).

Good ski lodge
Was a good stay. My boys were able to ski right from the lodge. I work in the vacation rental industry, and see a lot of units. Photos are exactly how the unit looked and felt. Our boys had the basement to themselves, and all were comfortable.

No complaints. The unit is as-advertised. It was clean and had everything we needed to cook meals as well as warm up with a fire and in the sauna after a day in the cold. We would book it again.

Girls Trip
The four of girls had a blast! We stopped at Black Sand Beach which was right on the way. During our stay we hiked at Cascade Falls, went to North Shore Winery, Grand Marias, and took the Gondola ride! We enjoyed playing the games that were at the VRBO and having our own sauna/spa night in. Thanks for the stay!

Great place to stay and play!
Stayed at this beautiful spot for a golf trip. The property is as described. In a great location and close to amenities. There was plenty of room for four guys to hang and the unit is well stocked. Kristin and David were great to work with and the check in process was easy and efficient. Thanks again!

Beautiful location
Beautiful location but unfortunately the process of checking in was extremely annoying. Checkin was at 4:00pm, we did not have access until 7:00pm. Three hours is a very long time with three kids who have been in the car for a long time. The condo was small and the the toilets didn’t flush, the water pressure in the shower was nonexistent, the furniture was poor and the beds were uncomfortable. Additionally, we couldn’t lock the door when leaving. For the price point the condo was not up to par and when combined with the communication from the owner it was an unpleasant experience. For this price we will not be staying here again.
