Welcome to our charming house located in an idyllic rural area, right on the outskirts of Lutherstadt Wittenberg. Here, you will find a truly tranquil place, just about 1.5 km away from the majestic Elbe River. Enjoy relaxing days with a refreshing pool surrounded by palm trees, an outdoor kitchen, a Mediterranean-style terrace with a view of the lush greenery, a soothing Finnish sauna, and a welcoming fireplace.
Our house is a retreat that offers you relaxation and nature experiences in perfection. The quiet surroundings invite you to unwind and disconnect, while the proximity to the Elbe River and the view of the greenery create a wonderful backdrop for unforgettable moments.
Note: Our house can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children (two double beds and one child's crib (up to 45kg)). Additionally, upon request, a children's/baby travel crib can be provided! A booking with 6 adult persons is not possible due to occupancy constraints.
The spacious saltwater pool surrounded by palm trees promises refreshing hours on warm days. Enjoy the Mediterranean flair and immerse yourself in the crystal-clear water. Our outdoor kitchen offers a large gas grill, gas stovetop, and gas smoker, allowing you to prepare meals in the open air. The Mediterranean-style terrace with a lounge sofa and dining table invites you to enjoy your meals with a breathtaking view of the greenery. In June and July, sweet cherries can be picked fresh from our cherry tree!
For the little ones, there is a sandbox with sand toys and a slide ready to provide lively playtime.
The house features an open-concept living area, tastefully furnished with attention to detail. The fully equipped kitchen provides you with everything you need to prepare delicious meals. The large side-by-side refrigerator always offers fresh and filtered tap water as well as ice cubes and crushed ice for mixed cocktails. On cooler evenings, you can cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy the warm atmosphere.
The two bedrooms (upstairs and in the basement) are tastefully and comfortably furnished, ensuring restful nights. The children's room (upstairs) is lovingly designed and will bring joy to the youngest guests.
Relax in our Finnish basement sauna and leave your everyday worries behind. An additional fee is charged for sauna use (0.45 € / kWh). The sauna is currently under construction and will be completed by the end of October 2023.
The surroundings of the house offer a variety of opportunities for outdoor activities. Take walks or bike rides along the Elbe River, explore the picturesque landscape, or take the opportunity for trips to the nearby cities of Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Leipzig, and Berlin, which offer cultural highlights and attractions. Right next to our house, the Elbe Cycle Path runs through the Wittenberg district. It stretches over a distance of 82 km from the state of Saxony to the city limits of Dessau-Roßlau, passing through the Lausiger Teiche, the Elbe ferry in Pretzsch, and the Lutherstadt Wittenberg. An ideal terrain for active cycling hours in the beautiful surroundings.
