The Space:
Moonlight Ridge is the perfect place to get away with friends and family and explore everything the Shenandoah Valley has to offer. Gather in the two-story great room with plenty of light and beautiful views. The fully stocked kitchen is ready for your home recipes. Outside you will enjoy outdoor activities in the large yard, the new hot tub, fire pit, and patio for grilling.

The cabin includes:

- 2 Bathrooms (1 with a bath tub)
- Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of prep space
- Electric heat & AC (to keep you comfortable no matter the weather!)

Outside you’ll find:
- Brand new hot tub!
- Brand new fire pit!
- Large Deck for Grilling on the propane grill
- Large yard for outdoor activities (we’ll provide the games)

We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).

NOTE: the tap water often has a yellow/light brown appearance due to high minerality levels -- specifically iron and manganese. We’ve had the pipes/well inspected and there’s nothing wrong with them; the presence of iron/manganese is normal in this area, and the water is perfectly safe to drink (although it can occasionally have a slight sulfur smell). We recommend bringing bottled water.

Bedroom 2 does not have a door, but it is still fully private and provides a comfortable, quiet space for your stay.

Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!

We’re just a short 15-minute drive to downtown Luray and the famous Luray Caverns. Beyond the caves (which we recommend you check out), the town has fantastic breweries, restaurants, and shops for you to enjoy!

- Love the outdoors? Shenandoah National Park: Over 200,000 acres of protected lands, with cascading waterfalls, spectacular vistas, fields of wildflowers, and quiet wooded hollows - there’s so much to explore! (Skyline Drive runs the length of the park) (30 min drive away)
- Looking for something to do with the kids? The Garden Maze at Luray Caverns: Enormous chambers filled with towering stalactite columns, shimmering travertine draperies, and crystal-clear pools.
- Looking for good restaurants & shopping? A short drive to Hawksbill Brewing Company, wineries, ice cream, coffee shop - lots of local favorites
