"I was excited to visit this brand new property as soon as I saw the ad online and it did not fail to impress. Absolutely gorgeous property, inside out. Rooms stylish very comfy and practical as well. Lobby area, cafe restaurant and the new opened bar will definitely be a meeting point for non guests as well. I’d like to note that the building itself adds beauty to the area, which is something that often does not occur. Highly recommended and will definitely be back!"

"This hotel is really close to transportation links, and the stadthalle for events is a very short walk. However in an evening the locality is not the safest. That being said fantastic little hotel reasonably priced. "

"We had an excellent stay for 5 of us at Hotel Altstadt Vienna. The suite was spotless and very well maintained, making it a comfortable place to relax. The staff were outstanding - friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, and the hotel’s location made it easy to walk to the city center and explore. "The crew stood out they were all so nice and accommodating. They made me feel at home. Unfortunately I was in and out of the hotel i really didn’t have time to taste their wine collection they also had beautiful art inside. It’s super close the district 1 (9 mins walk) and tram was close too ( 9 mins walk) Super clean and spacious "

"Quite a unique experience — Jo&Joe is located on the 5th and 6th floor of an in-city IKEA, which is a clever concept (great way to furnish the place!). The atmosphere is very young and vibrant, though we did see families staying as well. The room had a raw, industrial-chic aesthetic — think chunky wooden bunk beds and bare concrete grey walls, giving it a warehouse loft feel. The room was surprisingly comfortable with a nice view. "I had a great stay, comfortable beds, hassle free check in and check out. Lots of great food places nearby and decent walking distance to museums and such."

"Room was generally clean although there was an empty condom wrapper and two hankies down the side of the bed. The room was at the entrance to the Pension so people coming and going at all times of the day - I wore earplugs and it was fine. Pod style shower room might not be to everyone’s taste but if you are efficient it is not a problem. The check in Registration sheet was in German so if that is not your first language then you might need some help. Other than that, it was exceptional value."

"Good value for money property. Considerably cheaper than hotels in Innes Stadt and Weina. Easy access to public transport, around 15 minutes into city centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room a bit to sleep in at night but otherwise great."

"Lovely, spotless room. Very well equipped, nothing lacking. Free lockers to leave bags for later collection. Quiet street about 30 mins walk to central Vienna but also lots of public transport options. We were here New Year's eve, and found lovely surprise of bottle of sparkling wine outside our door. Lovely thought. Extra special as it was also my birthday."
