Phenomenal view!!
If you are in Lugano for the scenery this is an exceptional place to stay. View wise it has a great panoramic view of the lake where you can see central Lugano but also the surrounding towns. It has good public transportation access but is also completely walkable if you aren’t in a rush.
The quarters themselves are pretty basic, the sofa was super comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. We don’t typically spend a lot of time indoors while traveling so it was ample for our needs. If we had stayed longer I might want a bit more space.
The owners were very helpful and accessible on the phone when trying to locate the building. I will say the VRBO map shows the address as Via S Giorgio 41 which is not accurate. And S Giorgio is one of those fun roads that is a bit like spaghetti so we hiked up a long way from where the building is actually located. It was fine and don’t think this is the owners fault but maybe something VRBO needs to correct.
All that said, the place was perfect for our needs, there were fireworks one night and the view was ideal. We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace soaking up the views every chance we got.
Thank you for allowing us to stay and we would absolutely return in the future!!
