Host was very friendly and accommodating. Great property to walk. Cabin is perfect size for a small group and super cute. Great locations with many places to see nearby. Highly recommend Michigan Legacy Art Park, Gwen Frostic Prints and Lake Bluff Bird Sanctuary.

Kate kindly greeted me when I arrived, and provided "room service" with towels and trash. This was my second stay, and it is clean, soaps, coffee, toaster, microwave, cozy. Nice place to travel to nearby sights from. Also lovely firepit and outdoor table and chairs.

A great weekend with the family! A lovely time with great hosts! Everything thing we needed for a relaxing weekend. The fire pit was awesome. The house was immaculate and cozy! We will be back to stay again!

Perfect for a Peaceful Getaway

My wife and I went to celebrate our anniversary. We weren’t able to enjoy the exterior with the heavy snow, but the inside was super cozy. We were plenty warm. An easy distance from Crystal Mountain Resort, and not too far from other towns if you are looking for restaurants, gas, groceries, etc. The owners were also super responsive. My wife and I would definitely stay here again.

Comfy, cozy getaway

The Shed surpassed all my expectations! It was so cute and clean and just what I was hoping for and more. The location was very peaceful and quiet. The way it’s set back in the pines and all the little details made it by far one of the best places we’ve stayed. Kate was amazing and definitely hope to get back there soon!

Great place!

“The Shed” is a cute little place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. The place was so clean and well kept. Kate was so nice and friendly and made the stay feel so comfortable. You can see the care Kate and Ray took to make the shed a perfect getaway! Would definitely recommend this place for someone to visit!

Perfect getaway

The cabin was easy to find located down a dirt road tucked away into a quiet wooded area. It was absolutely perfect. This was by far the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in, plenty of room for our family of three, great outdoor area with fire pit. Highly recommend.

Great time at the shed

This was the perfect spot for our mid week getaway! Gorgeous property, the shed is perfect for a couple or a few friends to stay in. We also would recommend checking out ‘Rosie’s country cafe’ for a really good (no frills) diner breakfast in the area. We went a couple of times during our stay! Overall would definitely recommend

Small but MIGHTY!!

This was hands down the cutest cabin we ever rented! Every detail has been thought about, super clean and again so nice. We met Kate during our stay and had a nice chat with her and she filled us in the history of the cabin. We had a great time and would definitely return.
