GREAT CABIN

beautiful home in the woods. Everything was as described. The only negative was the lake across the street was extremely weedy. It did not take away from the wonderful weekend we had. We would love to stay again in the future. Close to downtown Ludington and the beautiful state park that is a must see.

Great place for a family

The house was very clean and well maintained. The hot tub and fire pit were great outdoor activities for both the kids and the adults. The kids also loved playing in the woods around the house. The property itself is very secluded. The area is also great, close to Lake Michigan! Great for a family with a few kids. Definitely recommend!

Cute cabin!

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was private and quiet with everything our family needed. The hot tub was great after spending days out and about in Ludington. Great find, we would stay there again!

Great cabin

This was a perfect getaway spot for our weekend! The location was so quiet, tucked away down a dirt road. The kitchen was very well stocked which we greatly appreciated. Hot tub was clean, beds were comfy, great deck with furniture!

We loved our time at the Arrowhead Cabin, the pictures do not do it justice! So beautiful inside and outside. If you like to cook, the cabin is perfectly stocked. The hot tub was great after long days of hiking and beach. The Ludington area is so beautiful with so much to do, I would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Great Weekend Getaway

Our stay was a great little weekend away! The property is very cute and homey. There’s lots of entertainment at the home and nearby! We did have some issues, but the property managers were able to solve it and help us right away. I would definitely recommend staying here the next time you’re in Ludington!

It was perfect for our needs. Happy it had AC as it was hot and muggy outside. C

Cutely decorated, well maintained, had everything we needed. We got a lot of rain and had a small issue in which we text the owners and let them know. They were quick to respond and thanked us for letting them know. I would stay here again.

Luxurious Rustic Getaway!

Perfect getaway cabin! Easy to find, and beautifully maintained with all amenities right at your fingertips. Owners very responsive and were available for anything needed. The wooded surroundings were calm and beautiful, and the hot tub was glorious! The cabin is just a few miles from downtown Ludington filled with cool shops, and delicious restaurants. The Ludington beach and state park are close, too, and even though we went off season, we still had a fabulous time walking all over. We had an absolutely wonderful time and highly recommend this cabin to others! :)

Sportsman's paradise

If you like a quiet cabin in the woods (while still being close to beaches and towns) this place is for you. The boys liked catching frogs outside. I liked the hot tub and the Direct TV. Good for a small family. Not much more as the pull out sofa might not be a great night sleep for grownups. The master bedroom was perfect for mom and dad, though. The house had plenty of linens and towels and the owners were VERY responsive with any questions. A good stay without much hassle.

Super Clean and well kept

If you are looking to get away and for a relaxing and beautiful retreat, this is the place! We annually go away as a couple and leave our 3 young kids at home. This was perfect and just what we needed!! So quiet! Close to downtown Ludington and plenty to do! One thing to note, the launch for the kayaks is down the road and they need to be wheeled down which can be a challenge. Also the area of the lake the shared dock was on, was not really an area for swimming but it is perfect for fishing or kayaking. Obviously everyone has different things they like to do but I thought I would mention that because we were expecting something a bit different when it came to the lake access. It was not a problem though! We found plenty to do and everything was perfect!

Hunting Cabin in Mosquito Land

The cabin was OK. Not as clean as I would have liked, cobwebs everywhere! Beds were clean, Master bed was reasonably comfortable but the other full beds were not. Also while talking bedrooms it should be mentioned that there is no door on the Master so no privacy! Kitchen was well equipped but just a few odd glassed and a lot of the dishes were chipped and well worn. Outside was a nightmare, just to enter and exit we had to use a mosquito fogger. There are so many trees and overgrown weeds that it’s mosquito heaven. The trees also makes the cabin very dark, needed lights on all day. There was absolutely no way we could use the outside space, even if we could chairs and deck were dirty! We brought jet skis with us as we were told the lake was close, well not so! Also, there was no way to get a truck and trailer down to the lake, the dock was dangerous and with the reeds there was absolutely no way! We had to drive to another location to launch which was not ideal as we had checked with owner regarding the dock. I would recommend this as a hunting cabin, the lake is full of reeds so not good for swimming or launching jet ski etc and again the dock was dangerous. We spent most of our time in Ludington about 15/20 minutes away, which was beautiful and at another boat slip again about 10 minutes away with a lovely picnic area.

Not a great first impression. Weeds in the flower area, lots of spider webs around property and some inside. Dead bugs in door frames. They had kayaks but to get them to the water would be tough with the gravel road and hills.Hot tub nice.

I cant express how greatful i am that i chose to stay with matt and laura at their great cabin. They went above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcomed and cared for. cabin getaway

The house was cute and the location was beautiful, although a little farther from town than we had thought. There was plenty of room to park our boat and launch at nearby ramps. The only disappointment was the hot-tub which was not very clean, so we did not use it like we had planned.

A peaceful, private getaway

This A-frame cabin had everything we needed - nothing more and nothing less - for a quiet week away to enjoy the beautiful scenery and outdoor fun that Michigan has to offer. The private location, while off the paved road in a peaceful spot in the woods, was a great jumping off point to get to many interesting towns and lakes. The host was very attentive and kind and provided everything for a comfortable stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to return for another visit!
