Our room was very nice for two couples, with comfortable beds and a few free drinks and snacks provided. We also loved the small balcony with a view of Lake Lucerne and the easy access to walking downtown along the lovely lake path.

We liked our room in the villa being a short walk on the lake away from city center but with bus stops outside the door. With a minimalistic design, there were still many extras (complimentary mini bar, fridge, toiletries)

This is not a traditional hotel. But I emailed them and they booked a cab for me. They were very responsive. The room had some nice amenities like free drinks and snacks. A universal outlet etc. it’s close to the lake which is nice. My only feedback is all the linens need a refresh.

Their system was well-explained and easy to figure out. It was close to the old town in Lucerne without having too hefty of prices. It was a comfortable room to stay in, especially with a window AC unit

We had a nice view of Lake Lucerne from the windows. Had a bit of trouble checking in at the start. Arrived at 3pm on our check in time but our room was not ready yet. Another thing to note was the many small spiders in the bathroom and the musty smell coming from the wooden bed/bed stand. Definitely wished the room had more amenities inside like a small sofa.

So happy we stayed here rather than right downtown Lucerne. It was so relaxing to be just a quick walk to the lake. We took the number 6 or 8 bus downtown when we were too tired to walk and it was a 5 minute ride and always easy to catch. Very thankful for the air conditioning! The room was lovely and appreciate the drinks and snacks. I am recommending this to my friends and would gladly come back.

A nice little place to stay! Don’t worry about the distance from the main area. It’s a very quick and easy bus ride with a stop right outside the hotel, or a nice walk along the lake, and we enjoyed being away from the centre. The hotel was very quiet, clean, and self check-in very simple and quick. There are some nice touches, like drinks in the fridge and coffee/kettle all included, which we didn’t find anywhere else in Switzerland.

My room was a bit noisy since it faced the street. The laundry service was alright though I did have to take my laundry to the sister hotel down the street. But it was ready for me the next morning. As a nice touch they had umbrellas for guest use which came in handy as I’d forgotten to bring one. Breakfast likewise is at the sister hotel down the street. I enjoyed the minibar snacks and drinks (no alcohol) that were included in the room price. I would stay here again.

Pros: The room and bathroom were clean and we appreciated that water and snacks were included. Beds and pillows were comfortable, furniture was newer/in good shape, and the towels and toiletries were high quality. An in room AC unit was provided and wifi was good. The bus stop is only a 4 minute walk away so easy to access from the main train station. Breakfast is served at the beautiful sister hotel (Hotel Beau Sejour) only a 5 minute walk away - highly recommend including this in your stay as the food was good and you get a lake view from the patio. Cons: Read the fine print before your reserve - there are lots of steps and no elevator. No front desk and no onsite staff person so it's a self-check in situation and there's no one to help with luggage. Lastly, the artwork on the walls in the rooms is downright disturbing - faces of ghost-like figures and weird sculpted pieces.

Close to town (i.e. 25 min walk). Can't say enough good things about the staff. There is a common area with kitchen if you want to cook for yourself (not a bad idea given the prices in Swiss restaurants). Only downside was the mildly scented soap used to wash the sheets and the coloured toilet paper (my wife has allergies).

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Clean and modern. Only negative was we had 3 people in our 2 rooms, but other than 1st night, there were only 2 bath towels (we had left one on floor to be replaced). No nearby restaurants but easy to hop on bus (free for guests) and go into city center. Beautiful walking path on Lake Lucerne, 20 minute walk along path to center city.
