We loved the area the hotel was in. It was so close to the river and so many beautiful buildings and amazing restaurants and cafes. The pool was also a highlight, very clean and well maintained. The rooms were clean and spacious, and we especially loved the window seats and double windows!

Great property just 5 min walk away from shopping and main dinning area but still in a very quiet zone. Property had pool and outside sit down area which is very nice. One of the rare property in Swiss which provided both AC ( small but working ), fan and elevator. Rooms are on the small side specially of travelling with kids but were ok for shorter stay.

We had a double with a wonderful terrace. The pool looked great, although we didn’t swim. The hotel’s location is perfect, in the middle of Lucerne’s old town. Rooms were very quiet.

Great Vibe Hotel, bad Hotels.com service

The hotel and staff were great. Friendly and helpful. Hotels.com made two reservations for us when I only needed one. When i called Hotels.com they did not help and I was charged twice. I worked with the staff at the front desk and they were able to sell the extra room and refunded me. Hotel pool was very nice.

Basletor Hotel review

the staff was extremely helpful and the location was perfect just one block off of the river.The coffee house across the street was perfect and the Restaraunts in the area were great.We attended a Mass/Concert ath the church just a block away and were hyelped by the desk staff to find out various details. Overall I would recomend this hotel to anyuone..

Location was very good. The room was “tired” but fairly clean. Bring your own toiletries: only hand sanitizer in a dispenser by the sink and liquid soap in the bathtub dispenser. The pool and hot tub were closed for the season, earlier than was indicated in the information provided at booking, one of the reasons for making this choice. We only saw the desk attendant once at check in, otherwise we came and went without seeing a soul.

The location is excellent, easy walk to everything. The beds were comfortable and the pool area was good; the whole hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The only thing to note in summer is the rooms don't have AC and it can get hot; there were fans provided which worked well.

Nice and affordable hotel

Overall, the hotel is very nice and the price is affordable. I stayed here for 6 nights and I love it. Moreover, the front desk staff and service here is excellence especially the gentlemen who help me and sort out the extension of my stay.
