I must say reading some reviews I was apprehensive about this hotel however all that went away the minute we stepped in. FYI they charge 100 CHF a day deposit which you get back end of your stay and they take this immediately at check in. You also get charged city tax around 25CHF at the end of your trip. The hotel staff and location are amazing. The staff are so good they helped me out with everything I asked and our room was spotless. The location is fantastic just mins away from the station and central to restaurants and shopping centres. Yes there is noise at night from people partying but theres a rooftop bar above you and bars outside too so why are people surprised by this lol. We had that one night until 1am but it was expected and that's fine. Overall great hotel lovely staff fantastic location and I can definitely say I will 100% return to this hotel again. Thank you Hotel Astoria!!❤️

Hotel Astoria is only 10 minute walk from the station and has quick access to buses. Nice shops and restaurants near by! The staff are friendly and the room was clean and comfortable..breakfast was ok.. I would recommend for a family stay..

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible! The location is truly unbeatable—right in the heart of Lucerne, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The staff was unbelievably sweet and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even helping us coordinate public transportation. The cleanliness was exceptional, and the breakfast far exceeded our expectations with a variety of delicious options. One of the highlights was the stunning rooftop bar—breathtaking views and the perfect place to unwind. A special shoutout to Tommy! He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cared about creating a great experience for us. He went above and beyond in every way. We would definitely stay here again. Everything is pretty good here, location, cleanliness, services and breakfast. However, I wish their entrance was better designed. The options were either a flight of stairs (which can get slippery when wet), a narrow escalator with luggage restriction or an unintuitive elevator down a hallway.
