Located just 7 km from the beautiful city of Lucca and within easy reach of Tuscany's main attractions, "Casale il Poggio" is a fully renovated, traditional Tuscan farmhouse.

The house sits along the Via Francigena, a historic route that once allowed pilgrims from across the Alps to travel to the "Holy City" of Rome. Even today, countless travelers can be seen walking along this route during the day.

This detached, two-story house features four spacious, light-filled bedrooms and is surrounded by a large, fully fenced private garden. Free Wi-Fi is provided.

The garden features a large swimming pool (6 x 12 meters) for the exclusive use of our guests.
"Casale il Poggio" is the ideal choice for families or groups of friends seeking a peaceful, private getaway, while still being close enough to quickly reach the city, the nearby beaches of Versilia, or the magnificent mountains of the Garfagnana and Apuan Alps.

During the summer season, the house is rented to only one group at a time.

On the GROUND FLOOR, you will find a spacious, well-equipped kitchen featuring a refrigerator, stovetop, and dishwasher.

There is also a bathroom with a shower, a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom.

Access from the back of the house leads to the private garden, which is equipped with a barbecue, gazebo, sun loungers, and the swimming pool.

On the FIRST FLOOR, there is a spacious double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower.
A comfortable double sofa bed is located in the hallway area.

Private parking is available both inside the property grounds and outside.

PLEASE NOTE
The house is not equipped with air conditioning, as it is not necessary. Thanks to its thick stone walls, the house remains well-ventilated and cool during the day; at night—even in the height of August—its location in the valley ensures a comfortable sleep, free from the summer heat.

Upon arrival, a cash payment of €3.50 per person (aged 13 and older) is required for the first three nights only. As required by law, we will remit the collected amount to the Municipality of Lucca (tourist tax).

A surcharge of €7 per night, per pet, applies.
