I was apprehensive about renting a room, but it turns ed out to be a very niece place. Not many choices in Lubec ME. Very nice bar restaurant, Water Street Tavern, in walking distance. Room was very well appointed. Glad I didn't let the pictures change my decision.

The room was exactly as described, and was meticulously clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and the contactless check-in and check-out and all communications with the owner were great. They even upgraded my room to an ocean view at no charge.

My wife and I stayed here because I was running the Bay of Fundy International Half Marathon. The Inn is located within 20 feet of the finish line. The Inn and the room were immaculate. The room was much more spacious than the photo made it appear in the listing. Patrick was the perfect host. He was friendly and quick to respond to questions. He even left ice for me to have after my race. All in all we loved the Inn and hope to return next year.

Eastern Beacon Room 3

The room was comfortable and clean. There were grab and go breakfast options available and coffee was ready for us. This was a great location for us to stay when visiting Quoddy State Park.

I give this place high marks for location, comfort, and cleanliness. We would stay at Eastern Beacon again. Patrick, the Inn Keeper, laid out an array of breakfast goodies and hot coffee every morning for us early risers. Self-checkin went smoothly and Patrick, without being obtrusive, was a quiet, welcoming presence.
The weekly, celtic jam happening at the Lubec Brewey, a couple doors down from the Inn.
We hiked a few of the well maintained trails available just a short drive from the Inn. This one ran along the beaches and headlands between Racoon Beach and Liberty Point, Roosevelt-Campobello International Park.
