There's a beach just down the road that y'all can walk to, and lots of dirt roads and trails for hiking and walking. ATVs can be rented from Berlin NH. Mooselook Diner has the best breakfast...

"The place was great. It gave us space to stay for the night before we went to Santa’s Village. This was a clean location and room were nice and cool. It also was next to some really nice restaurants. Try out Shilling Beer Company for some great wood fired pizza and Crumb Bum Bakery in the morning for great coffee and fantastic homemade baked goods."

"This is a lovely inn where you will enjoy a B&B style stay with lovely river views and easy access to all White Mountains attractions. Our room was very cozy with effective AC. We arrived too late for dinner, but there is a full restaurant with a variety of delicious breakfast choices. In our case, it was an ideal halfway rest between Quebec and southern New England. I would not think twice about rebooking!"
