Emerald Lake Lodge

"Emerald lake lodge is a beautiful location right on the lake with real wood burning fireplace in the room. That was awesome! The restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. My only complaint was the parking situation. Overnight guests must park in a remote parking area and be shuttled to the hotel while day visitors can park close to the hotel. It should be the other way around so that overnight guests don’t have to wait for the shuttle which can only take 9 people at a time…and during peak times we had to wait 20 minutes for another shuttle. Otherwise, this place was beautiful and I highly recommend it."

"We had a really great 3 nt stay at Paradise Lodge and Bungalows. The staff were really helpful and professional. We were able to park before check in (on a limited, first come basis) so we could walk the 15 mins, up to Lake Louise and spend more time there. The 2 bedroom suite with kitchenette was very comfortable - the beds are very good and the daily servicing was a treat. We didn't have to use our car at all - we walked every day to Lake Louise to either hike there or catch the prebooked Parks Canada Moraine Lake Shuttle bus. The price is not cheap - but there is so little accommodation in this beautiful area, we really appreciated the proximity and peaceful location."

"The good - view off the deck was spectacular! Grills in back with fire starters is a nice touch. Suite was nice sized, and we really enjoyed the gas fireplace. The not so good - bedroom was cramped and mattress was not comfortable and squeaked. Was supposed to be a king, but was a queen. Microwave was broken, but they replaced it promptly. Gift shop is sparse - pick up whatever you need before you come."

"This hotel is excellent! From the moment you arrive the staff are amazing. Leo the driver is so knowledgeable when taking you around town. The rooms are fab, having an open fire was luxurious and a nice surprise. Loved everything about the room and food in the main restaurant"

"A lovely cabin in a lovely location. Comfortable and well-situated between Golden and Field with trails and sights within easy driving distance. A short drive from the highway and very quiet. Clean with complete household necessities. Tina, the host, always responded to emails quickly and thoroughly. I highly recommend this venue!"
