"This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The photos do not do the hotel justice. The staff were very friendly, we slept in so we couldn't experience the breakfast but the room restaurant looked inviting. The air-conditioning worked very well for the August weather. A very comfortable stay!"

"Nous avions une chambre triple(chambre 404) pour une nuit avec vue sur la baie, plus dispendieuse avec vue mais vaut à mon avis totalement la dépense pour profiter au maximum de l’expérience sur l’île. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient spacieuses et fonctionnelles. L'édifice historique est bien situé, dans une rue tranquille à l’écart du chaos de la rue principale. Le personnel a été très accueillant et aidant. La décoration audacieuse peut surprendre mais je n’avais que de yeux pour la grande fenêtre rustique. :)"

"The breakfast was excellent! If you are parking on the premises I advise reserving a spot in advance. There were no spaces available our first night but they were able to accommodate us for the rest of the stay. The staff was nice, hotel is very well maintained. For summer travelers, be aware that the rooms are not air conditioned which necessitated keeping windows open at night to sleep, but then we had to endure the noise from the restaurant in the courtyard which ran as late as midnight on one night."
Churchill Hotel Bayeux Centre

"We booked a privilege room. It had enough space and was very quiet - no external noise at all. Location is the best of any hotel in Bayeux. Right on the Main Street in the middle of all the restaurants, bars shops etc. all day tours depart from the street at the back of the hotel. It’s less than a 15 min walk to/from the train station. There are plenty of taxis. All staff were super friendly and helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. Room was spacious enough, clean and quiet. Aircon and wifi both were excellent. Breakfast was ok. The front desk team were the highlight. So friendly, so helpful. We stayed for a week and didn’t run out of things to do. There so much much more the Bayeux than D-Day beaches. We loved Churchill Hotel and would definitely return."

"Nice modern little hotel. We enjoyed our stay, used gym and spa facility as well. Breakfast options are just enough to have light breakfast in the morning."

"I had a warm welcome and the gentleman at reception put my medication in a fridge for me. The lift was handy with bags, the corridors were very dark with light on timers. The double room was confortable big enough as I was by myself. I would have loved a complimentary bottle of water., because I’d walked from the station."
