「We boat on Lake Shelbyville and the property is very close to a ramp. House was nice. Kitchen was very well stocked! Several extra amenities! The garage was an A+ with the extra fridge, grill and utensils. The only thing that I could pick at was the lawn desperately needed to be cut and the firepit was in a weird location on the side of the driveway. Nothing to not want to stay again! I would definitely return!!」

「We (3 generations) spent a lovely, relaxing 5 days here to attend Millikin’s Spring Graduation. The house was great. Very spacious! The kitchen was stocked beyond my expectations, and the view was amazing. We SUP’d, kayaked, and fished (caught 2). 「This property was well represented in pictures, spotless clean and worked out very well. We had also rented a larger home in Arthur that was "home base" so this was basically used for sleeping and showering. No meals were prepared here although it appeared the kitchen was well supplied although it did not have a dishwasher. The washer and dryer in the basement could be a bit inconvenient for some. This house was perfect for what we needed this week as an "annex" with more room for our family.」

「Having a lake right outside the window was amazing. The hotel appears to be getting slowly remodeled, and it desperately needs it. With all of this being said though, this place has hands down, not even close, the best staff I've ever encountered. The 2 ladies that we encountered were friendly, professional, and EXCELLENT at what they do. Hopefully, when we come back to the area, this location has finished the much needed work AND kept these 2 ladies!!」
