the walk from Stemnitsa, down to ancient Gortys, then back Dimitsana took us 6.5 hours and was the best hike of my life. had a taxi drop us in Stemnitsa, we called him to pick us up at a cafe in Dimitsana.

Beautiful views, clean room. Especially impressed with the breakfast and breakfast staff. Do not recommend the buffet dinner as value just isn’t there compared to the great breakfast, as there isn’t as much variety or even drinks included yet costs a lot. Dinner staff also seemed not interested. Wish we skipped that.

The location is absolutely beautiful, the food delicious and the staff were amazing and helpful. They even packed us takeaway breakfasts when we had early morning excursions. Not to mention the stunning beach and the wonderful view of the Temple of Poseidon. We visited at the end of the September and the water was still so warm. Such a hidden gem. We didn't want to leave.
