We recently spent seven days at this villa with three generations of our family. The property suited us well, with a lovely layout, great pool and fantastic location. We also can’t speak highly enough of Farida, the house manager, who was responsive and did everything she could to help throughout our stay.Unfortunately, our experience fell well below the standard we expected from a luxury villa. We spent too much of our holiday reporting problems, waiting for technicians and dealing with maintenance issues.We experienced ongoing hot water problems, lost use of the pool for part of a day while it was repaired, had no working washing machine for several days, one bedroom’s air conditioning never cooled enough for comfortable sleeping, and we arrived to broken kitchen fittings. Together, these issues significantly affected our holiday.The outdoor areas were also disappointing. Mosquitoes were a major problem despite precautions, ants constantly covered the terrace, and the cicadas around the pool were extremely loud throughout the day.Our biggest disappointment was how our concerns were handled afterwards. Rather than acknowledging the disruption, the booking agency disputed almost every issue we raised. It’s a shame because the villa has many positives, but better maintenance and a more customer-focused approach are needed. Sadly, we wouldn’t return or book through this agency again.
