Great location and within a 15minute walk of the Villamoura marina with all it's shops and places to eat, Hotel was imaculate, the rooms were all the same but layed out perfect with all the mod cons one could wish for, room and towels cleaned and changed daily.

We had the best weekend staying here, could not fault these apartments. So clean and well equipped and the free breakfast hamper every morning was such a treat, stuffed full of lovely fresh food. Staff were super friendly and Boris really looked after us at the pool bar. Thank you, we’ll be back next year!

Two bed apartment - Rooms and living area were very spacious, clean and comfortable with kitchen providing all utensils needed. Lovely area where we felt very safe, close walking distance to both Quarteira and Vilamoura. Small poolside bar was a lovely addition and the member of staff working at it was very pleasant and attentive. Would definitely return!

Don Pedro Residences is brand new, and the amenities are perfect. The only thing we would have appreciated is a small bottle of dish soap or perhaps a small bottle of laundry soap. The staircase to the roof top whirlpool is somewhat precarious but once you brave the staircase the whirlpool was enjoyable. We did have some issues with the master TV set and also with the security lockbox in the closet. The beds were comfortable, and the air condition units worked extremely well and we appreciated coming into a cool resting place at the end of our day.

Beautiful stay

The Dom Pedro Residences is a new hotel that opened in summer 2024. It is centrally located between Vilamoura (where the marina is located with lots of finer dining restaurants, but dinning can be very loud with a lot of drunk tourists) and Quarteira (an older quieter community with many shops and restaurants as well along the beach) The hotel itself is very modern, with two modern bedrooms, two bathrooms and 3 walkouts to a very large and spacious balcony. There is also a full modern kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. A combination front-load washer dryer all in one unit can also be found in the kitchen. If you are grabbing groceries there are two Spar Markets within a 10 minute walk. For 20 Euros the hotel can also pick up food for you. The hotel is very clean and the staff keep it well maintained. They have yoga poolside three days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11am. Beds were quite firm and could be a bit uncomfortable after sleeping in one position for some time. We spent our time poolside as opposed to the beach as the water was quite cold in September. There are a lot of beach bars along the beautiful boardwalk but we enjoyed utilizing the poolside bar at the hotel and a big shoutout to Boris who was amazing and so friendly at the poolside bar. Overall staff did an amazing job and are very kind. Would highly recommend this hotel for the kind staff, aesthetically beautiful grounds, spacious and modern rooms and beautiful pool. You won’t

⭐ 1/5 — Very disappointing experience I would not recommend Dom Pedro Residences based on my stay. For a property that presents itself as a high-end residence in Vilamoura, the overall guest experience fell well below expectations. One of the biggest problems was noise. There is a nightclub very close to the property, and the loud music at night seriously affects the ability to rest. On top of that, on my final morning an alarm near the apartment door went off twice at around 6:00 a.m., waking and disturbing us. Whether this was caused by staff, housekeeping, or another issue, it is unacceptable for guests to be subjected to this kind of disturbance so early in the morning. There were also issues around the pool area, where the environment was not properly controlled and guests playing in the pool repeatedly splashed others who were simply trying to relax. For the prices being charged, guests should expect peace, proper management, and much greater attention to the overall experience. Instead, I left frustrated and disappointed. I have stayed at many hotels and residences, and this is not the standard I would expect from the price range. Management seriously needs to improve its handling of noise, guest disturbances, and basic consideration for people who are paying to enjoy a relaxing stay. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not return.
