The Annex, Small Double Bed, Parking, Quiet.
The Annex is a private, self contained space adjoined to the rear of our house. It has it's own parking space, a small double bed (190cm length bed wall to wall), shower room and private outdoor seating area. The main train line is 5 minutes walk from The Annex and makes Lostwithiel easy to get to for exploring Cornwall’s beautiful sights. Lostwithiel also has a selection of pubs, a restaurant, Indian and Chinese takeaways, shops, riverside and woodland walks all within walking distance. The Annex has been newly renovated to a high standard. It has been thoughtfully set up to welcome guests that want a private, compact room (PLEASE NOTE BEFORE BOOKING; the bed length is wall to wall and measures 190cm (6ft 2in) and The Annex is adjoined to our house so the occasional bark or baby noise may be heard. It is a self contained space with its own entrance and has a shower room, parking and decking area. Complimentary tea, Nespresso coffee and milk is provided. The Annex does not have cooking facilities. There are two steps from the driveway down to the level of The Annex. Internally, The Annex is all on one level. The parking space is an off road private driveway and suitable for a car sized vehicle only (see photos). We also have an external secure wall mounted bracket to lock bicycles to if arriving by bike. You will require your own chain and lock. Guests can check in at their leisure (no later than 9pm on the check in day, later by request). Locally there is a Co-Op food store within 5 minutes walk. The closest pub, The Royal Oak Inn, is a 2 minute walk. Whilst we have guests booked, we keep ourselves out of the way and give our guests the privacy they would like. However, we are always available to help when needed and will be happy to greet guests on arrival. Guests will be able to park on the driveway outside of the Annex, (House no.9). Reversing is advised. If you do not require the parking space during your stay please let us know. The entrance to The Annex is next to the drive, down 2 steps. Guests can access The Annex using the key safe. The code will be messaged on the morning of arrival. The bed is a small double that goes wall to wall. The length measures 190cm, 6ft 2inch (slightly shorter than a standard bed length). As The Annex is adjoined to the rear of our house, the odd bark or toddler noise may be heard. It is a residential area and therefore, we ask guests to kindly respect our neighbours and keep noise levels to a minimum after 9pm. Thank You
