"⭐ 1 Star – Would Not Stay Again I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. I booked a 3-night stay and ended up leaving early after 2 nights because the cleanliness was unacceptable. The condition of the room did not match what was advertised. The carpet had visible stains throughout, the curtains had obvious discoloration and buildup, and the overall room felt unclean and poorly maintained. Even looking out the window, there was buildup and grime on the exterior areas, which gave the whole place a neglected feel. I attached photos so you can see exactly what I’m talking about—this wasn’t just minor wear and tear. It felt unsanitary. The staff was friendly during my stay, which I do appreciate. However, when I raised concerns and ultimately checked out early, I was not offered any kind of refund or resolution for the unused night, which was very disappointing. Because of these conditions, I didn’t feel comfortable staying the full reservation and left early, which ended up costing me money. The only positive was the location, but that doesn’t make up for the condition of the property. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made to cleanliness and upkeep."

"Great getaway! Lovely bed and breakfast in a beautiful walkable town. Quiet surroundings as you take a step back in time. Delicious breakfast! Best I’ve had all year. They care for the surroundings with great detail. This was a wonderful mother daughter weekend."

"Views where amazing property was clean and orderly, check in was awkward as they had sent me the wrong room number and entry code so we walked into a room that was already being occupied. But we were able to get in touch with a person and it got resolved almost immediately"

"This place is all about location. The experience in a 2-room suite was like staying at the home of an elderly relative who hasn’t updated their furnishings since the 70s. The rooms were spacious but a bit musty and quite worn. But it’s half a block to the main street so overall it’s a good choice if you don’t mind the thin walls and shag carpeting."
