Room was devoid of furniture, there was no heat, and it was stinky. Worst room I have EVER rented. For a premium price. Feel I have been mislead and ripped off.

The bad: it was cold and they only could provide space heaters. Carpet floors (I have allergies to dust so it was a bit uncomfortable). Wi-Fi was not good. They didn’t have a blowdryer. No continental breakfast. There was a damn rooster next door that was always crowing argh! The good: I rented a two bed room and we received a little suite that had two separate bedrooms with a shutting door. My room had an actual closet. There was a refrigerator and a microwave. Parking was free and plentiful. The owners were receptive to requests. Highland Park has a lot of food options in the area (get your breakfast from TROY and REGENT COFFEE has insanely strong coffee). I was told they will be renovating in the coming months so the unit layouts may change! I’d stay here again it was all right!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I wouldn’t even check my dog in to this dump!! They clearly bought it when it was apartments and did the office new and kept everything else a huge disaster. It was beyond awful!! Living room pictured a couch but when we got there we had only two chairs to sit in. Not a comfortable living room. No dishes nothing to cook with. What’s the point of a kitchen and no warning there would be nothing. No towels in the bathroom. Our bed pillows were dirty. The walls were filthy. Roaches even pass this dump by. It is absolutely horrendous!!! They could easily fix it up but it is not even worth staying in for free how it is now! It’s appalling they think it’s ok to charge for that crap hole! To top it all off they have a rooster that screams at all hours of the day! Shower water has zero pressures. While we were out trying to get items to cook with, the owner OPENED THE DOOR without permission and our minor son was inside! Absolutely not ok! I am shocked Expedia works with them this place needs to be condemned. Our family left so fast!!

I booked a single bed online and payment was allowed at check-out, so I took that. When I got there about an hour after check-in opened, he told me they had given the room out and my reservation was cancelled "because I hadn't paid". He had no other rooms and basically told me to go away. I stood and argued and eventually his wife came and they found a double room which I could use until a single one was ready. Later they said I may as well stay in it. It had wifi. The room was old and run down, had a kitchen but with nothing to cook with, eat off, wash dishes with. I had to eat my takeaways with utensils brought in. All I needed was a bed for the night so it was bearable. No bugs, clean linen and towels, OK bathroom. The aircon was loud, measured 50dB on my phone app. Could only sleep with noise cancelling headphones. Next day his wife was in office, I paid, and needed to get an Uber, but, wifi not extended to office. His wife reluctantly gave me their office wifi. I got my Uber and was off. The place's street view looks OK from the outside, but beyond, it's quite shabby.
