Great Stay for Family – Convenient and Comfortable

I booked this place for my family as it was close to my home, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was super convenient, and the host was very helpful and responsive. My family had a comfortable stay – would definitely recommend!

Lovely stay in Santa Monica

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend visiting our son and his family. The home is beautiful, the room bright, clean and roomy. We felt welcome right away. The neighborhood is great, very quiet, and so close to many shops, restaurants, and the beach. We would stay here again!

Convenient % Comfortable Room

We enjoyed our stay. The property is walking distance to beach and restaurants. Also very quiet and comfortable. Only problem for us was that the refrigerator is very small.

Great location!

Easy to find and get to. Room was clean and well stocked. The property is lovely! The room got quite humid, but maybe that’s normal for this area and time of year (?). The bedding was super comfy and luxurious!

My mom stayed here for a weekend while visiting us and couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Prime location in a very nice neighborhood with walkable access to everything you need. Will definitely be back!

Nice stay

We really enjoyed the stay at the Flat of Wendy, shops and Restaurants for Breakfast or dinner are in walking distance. Nice and quiet Neighborhood.

Sweet little room

This is the second time I've stayed here. The room is so cozy and the bed is comfortable. I stayed here visiting my son who attends UCLA and found the location perfect. The yard is beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed lounging in the chairs in the front yard. I will definitely stay here again.

Room was just right, in an excellent location, beautiful, quiet neighborhood, being walking distance to beach, stores, shops, and restaurants. Check-in process was smooth and easy. Hosts were extremely helpful after I'd inadvertantly botched the initial checkout date.

Excellent location!

Our first time ever in Cali… wasn’t sure about this area, but it was amazing. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance of pretty much everything in Santa Monica. Easy access to roads to go to Malibu or other areas in LA. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in.

Santa Monica property

What a delightful place to stay! This property was lovely, and we had a very pleasant experience. Close to everything and a short walk to the beach. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Ample street parking with a permit given by the host in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfectly lovely

This was a block from my brother so, for me, the location was perfect. Host was excellent. I would recommend you bring eyeshades, which we did and we slept fine. Parking easy. We will be back.

Comfort in Santa Monia

Host was great, easy check-in, prompt response in communications, very, very good. Place was perfect for the 2 of us, comfy bed, nice temp for sleeping on the very chilly Santa Monica evenings we spent there. Well appointed and the Chardonnay was really nice touch. Great proximity to shops and excellent food, not only on Montana but the area itself. We will definitely check this listing FIRST when planning next year's visit.

Lovey Place to stay!!

Beautiful location and property! Wendy was so sweet, and easy to connect with if we needed anything. The Bed was SO COMFY!!! Loved the pillows and blankets and sheets!! My family lives in the neighborhood so this was absolutely perfect location for us. Plus it’s close to everything’!! And if you love walking along ocean ave, gazing at the ocean…this is your place!!! Thanks Wendy & Vince, can’t wait to return!!

Peace and Quiet in Beautiful Neighbourhood

Spent 4 nights in this lovely room that has everything you need. Wendy answered all questions promptly. My only confusion at start is the online images are of different room and entrance. Room itself is as per description. The real positive about this rental is the neighbourhood- simply wonderful. Easy walk to Montana Ave and beach . Up to 30 min walk to actual Pier but I scooted everywhere and Santa Monica very well set up for bike riders et al. Wine and beer supplied was a nice treat. Perfect place for a relaxing visit to a lovely town

Not worth the price and poor communication

Not worth the price- it is a small room/bathroom within the owners house.There was no garbage can or microwave, and we were only provided with a tiny box mini fridge, which made our stay pretty uncomfortable. The communication with the owner also was not great. I experienced a glitch in the VRBO app and could not access the check in instructions. I tried contacting the owner, she declined my call and replied “text only” then proceeded to ignore all my texts explaining the situation for over 4 hours. If I had not received support from VRBO customer service I would not have been able to check in until late at night when she finally called me back. Overall I wouldn’t recommend. The only thing I enjoyed about our stay was the location, but again, I still don’t think it was worth the price.
